Hi everyone. Hope you don't mind my intrusion

Just returned from another week working away with no access to internet.

Good stuff Sy, sounds good mate.

Good luck with the new shafts Clive !

What's all this talk about the 30th ? Seems like I have been drawn into something here .......just glad it wasn't a booked **** bleaching session .
If Sy buys the burgers, I will eat my near side mirror.

Regarding my P1 Rich, Matt was working hard to get the car finished for end of business Friday (today), and did so. There was not enough time to map, so Matt had the car ready & set at a base map.
Work is totally mad at present and The Jap Fest that I was due to attend this weekend, would have proved impossible due to work.
With that in mind I spoke to Olly and said it would be good to map my car next week so I can collect it next Friday on my way home (working in Sheffield all week, live in Kent).

Once again sorry to intrude, carry on fella's

What a cheek posting on your own thread !

One week to go then, great news. Hope you will have some RR numbers to tell us all about on the 30th then, and then maybe back them up with a low 11 ? You have already got one I seem to remember so that has to be your target matey

One thing to keep in mind chaps, is that RCM have always asked me throughout the mods what I want at the end of the day, and I have always said a fast road / track car, and that's what I will get.

Drag racing has never been high on my agenda BUT I will attend on the 30th.

I am not making excuses but to be honest and fair to RCM if drag racing was my main priority the cars current spec would have been different.

.

Hi Clive
I have the Rotated GT30R with .82 at the moment.
Really struggling with grip in first and second ,need to change brakes and get rid of the AP 6 pot 355mm so i can get 15" Mickey T's on.Should be in the 10's then i hope ,have to waite till later on in the year for that.
Cant get quicker than 11.5 with the 18" T1R's.
Removed a lot of weight from the car and got it down to 1210kg,get more wheelspin now

I have just fitted smaller brakes so I can get 16's on, may have new wheels on for 30th. Still on 6 pots but with 305mm discs. I still have wheelspin issues on 888's in first but not second.

1210 is light fella I am high 12's in weight and plus my weight really doesn't help, my weight at 30-130 was 407 with me and half a tank of fuel. Still will be in 10's on 30th if no breakages

Steve,

Tips from Steven is cheeting imo Fine is - you buy the burgers

Clive

Skull your cars looking , its obvious how proud Olly is over the new twisted kit

funny what you say about RCM always asking you what you want at the end of the day

I went with a twin plate clutch and ppg gear set which Olly didn't want as he said it wouldn't make for a nice road car - 1 year later Im adding up the cost of a 6 speed and a AP organic - wish I could say you live and learn but i dont seem to learn !!

Well at least you are modest enough to admit you get it wrong.
Anyway what does Olly KNOW
Dont tell him "what you want" next time and he'll still get it right.
I'm 60 and still know better than everyone else

You want an OS Giken twin plate with the push/pull convertor, pedal is much nicer and lighter than standard. Could be interested in a swap with your PPG
