I'll be alright in my 240bhp Cupra. Not too sure about fudge in his 500bhp P1 though, unless of course his missus is behind the wheel."

Watching him as a spectator at Trax I thought that he was pretty disappointing, but it must have been great being a passenger

Daz: Nice car mate

Stu: I know what you mean about Ken Block.

He was going to do a 100 foot jump however we heard that Silverstones Insurances prohibited the jump and that a 60 ft jump was the max on the policy.

His jump looked like about 6 foot from where I was standing, so I'm guessing that the 60 foot included his run up and landing

Is RCM competing at Scoobyfest this Sunday?, as it would be interesting to see Olly against Terry Kaby (Prodrive) on the handling curcuit. The weather over the weekend looks good so I'm going to take a drive up Sunday.

Matt has been playing with the Gobstopper and it was redlining at 9,500 rpm.

It's now running at 10,500 rpm!!
and is currently pushing out 890 Bhp on Nos.

Makes me wonder how fast the car can go. He told me not long ago that there is more if needed.

mmmm that will be good to watch. That will prove a big statement if RCM beat
Kaby in Prodrive's latest creation.

That thing has plenty of torque and looks real quick on the handling event.

Who would your money be on ? (when they do eventually meet).

Has AF started his new build yet ?

a 400bhp evo has beat rcm twice on the tight circuits at totb so might struggle against prodrive on similar circuits?

It's shame the Gobstopper wouldn't be in action as Andy Forrest's car is back running at it's best with a recent 9.04 second quarter. So Andy could beat RCM to being the first UK Subaru into the 8s at Scoobyfest.
Has Matt changed to a smaller GT4094 turbo and sacrificed some maximum BHP for a more responsive turbo to further improve the car for Time Attack?. Or does Matt change turbo set-up depending on event, track type etc?.

I think Olly would have a chance if the track was wet as the less torquey Gobstopper would have better traction over the Prodrive car, but on a dry tight handling curcuit my money would be on Terry Kaby. Prodrive should enter Time Attack next year, now that would be interesting!.

I doubt you will ever see this happen. Especially considering Prodrive don't have any current works cars left in one piece!

Yes! that would be good, Prodrive / TA.

Deep down I believe Andy F will be the first into the 8's.His records over the past few years speaks for itself, although RCM are very close too.

I am not sure if Matt changes the turbo. Looking & listening at footage on the handling course I would say not.
He has told me previously that nothing much is changed for the quarter other than slicks so that may suggest the car is pretty much left alone?.

The only changes I am aware of (this year) are the carbon brakes which proved heavier than the ones removed so a smaller IC was fitted to compensate the weight difference, and another set of pistons went in.

I am not sure how much difference Dave's mapping makes to each event?

I get the impression the car is that well balanced it's pretty much left as it is other than the upgrades aforementioned.

Now that the F1 Renault chief has gone it would be great to see Prodrive boss Dave Richards take over the Renault outfit.

What do you guys thinks of N Piquet being told to crash, thus allowing team mate Alonso to win ?

I expect he was put in a position where he couldn't say no if he wanted to keep racing for them.

Nelson P Junior admitted he agreed to crash hoping it would enhance the possibilities of staying at Renault, and it was his father Nelson P senior who told the FIA.
Like Brundle said "it was real low to mention it when the sport had been so rewarding to NP senior".

F1 has always and will always be full of that. Emptying fire eater systems and filling tyres with water have been known (one by Ferrari).

I reckon another trick has happened recently. Force India does not go from the back of the grid to the front within 2 races unless they had been given info. No way can development make such a difference in one month.
