will probably see 360 - 370 bhp, tonnes of torque and be far more driveable than most other things that have the same sort of power.

yvm's black scoob was running those sort of figures with 380 - 400 lbft and pulled like a train. the only car i've been in that kicks more was eb30's. and that's comparing them to ferrari's, lambos, astons etc. power to weight ratio is far more important than just out and out power figures.

take what knowlesy says with a pinch of salt. did he just drive it and say "that's about xxxbhp" or did he actually have some sort of mapping / data equipment plugged in?

the other thing to look at is handling. since i've had mine set up by zak it feels sooo much faster. straight lines are boring. get it set up properly and you'll enjoy it all over again.

tvm, to show you what stripping out does to performance, the next meet we're both at, i'll take you out for a spin in my ra. and that's only running 270/250 at the moment. but probably only weighs just over a tonne.

Matt, yep the black scoob was lovely to drive, spec'd for low down response and wide torque curve. This makes the car far nicer and arguably quicker than a big bhp, laggy build. WRC cars only have around 300 bhp, but enough torque to stop the world turning! And they are very quick.

Your spec for this is a little over simplified, and therefore significantly under costed. Also Gearbox, Brakes, etc are a Must at that performance level.

only after I'd beaten you to the bottom of the underpass

True you did then go on to slaughter me, but losing against you is no hardship to be fair

literally everything. things left to go are spare wheel, sparewheel covering (then remount flamer kit somewhere else), sound deadening, bottom half of dash.

after that all that's left in are the 2 front seats, harnesses, dash, steering wheel, pedals, handbrake.

got a pic some where.
