at the end of the day, it would appear that loads of people are owed something from daz/other named accounts, be it gearboxes, or cash, so pick yer sides and grab the pop corn.

i doubt we have all the evidence ourselves, but i would put a guess on the courts having access to everything? they are the perfect people to judge all this, and they did.

one side is wrong, it just so happens that the wrong side also appears to owe other people various stuff as well.

parts getting removed, well anybody who has worked in a bodyshop will tell you that a front end crash could have damaged the front lights? were the silver bulbs tested just before the clinic took delivery of the vehicle? of course they were not, they might have looked fine, they might have got damaged on the way to the clinic, the bloke on the transporter might have gave them a sneaky kick

but if you are putting a car back to normal and they don't work when you are finished and checking the car, what are you going to do?

anykind of front end crash repair in a scoob should have the pulley wheels scrutinised IMO, what happens if you figure "bahh they will be ok" and then the engine blows up 2 miles down the road?

looks like they were nowhere near any damage in the photos, but we just do not know, maybe it was a precaution, maybe it is not and the clinic changed them to "bump up the repair bill" some bodyshops do this for extra pennies, some do this so they get no comebacks by people claiming for new engines/etc etc

it would appear that both sides have some valid arguments

the fact that another username which appears to have ripped somebody off and can be linked to daz? says to me a great deal indeed TBH

This makes ME suspicious. If it were true, the police would certainly have arrested Mr Davies. Did they? If not, why not?

TBH, I've seen some intimidation on these threads, and it's come FROM Mr Davies.

I've just been to the county court house and paid my £85 to lodge my appeal. This time I will be able to present my evidence, give my side of the story.

You've seen some of the pictures, I've got the pink rectification slip from the police dated two days after I picked the car up from you for a front end repair. Citing headlight alignment that and I quote" represented a clear danger to other road users if the vehicle was used at night".

I also have the phone conversation where you clearly started the swearing and the abuse and yet it was you that called the police in to say I started it.

If you're going to be a complete and utter tosser about this Kev then fair enough. For me its not about the money now its about the priciple involved.

I'll do everything I possibly can to vindicate this. Even if it costs me thousands!!!
