With regards to assault: if everything is as DD described then I doubt very much that it would be regarded as such.

I would have thought that unless there was proof whoever approached DD did so in a threatening manner and made threats against the minors, the chap coming off worse could easily press charges.

The bloke may have just gone round, asked DD politely to cough up whatever was supposed to be owed and DD used his apparent L33t skillz to do the bloke over.

Either way, bit of a *** going round and a) picking on the kids and b) getting involved in something not to do with him - oh and c) assuming he spoke for the SNet massif.

at a total guess, it might be down to the insurance company saying so. wonder if the insurance was mods replaced like for like, or if they were even declared?

What a complete spaz, a real crusader whoever you are! You stick up for an internet forum, go on son!

Nothing to do with me and I've nothing against either side but in a front end smash like that the engine would be prone to move about a bit, maybe even enough for those pullies in question to contact the front panel etc. If even at first glance they dont appear damaged they may of been weakened enough to fail in use hence the reason they were changed.

mm, interesting i notice he's now started to blame specific people for his misactions being out in public, o look my name lol

first off, the first i heard of anything to do with this whole thing was at a meet i went to from another owner, not from scoobyclinic direct (as you seem to be saying), and i believe sticky heard it from someone up in Newcastle from what he said to me. its been out in the public domain for a long old time and as far as clinic goes they have asked me to keep what i know to myself a bit when i mentioned what i had been told to them. so i shant go into specific details, only what's been posted on here.

I mentioned it when a post appeared about someone else you have let down, 4 months after first hearing about it, now you yell off saying this and that, but then every time later on down the line you change your mind or do something different.

last time i heard anything about you was some poor chap in France (iirc it was France) had been expecting a gearbox from you, which didn't show so he asked for a refund at which point you stopped responding till a thread got posted on here, no idea if got sent or a refund made or not, should flippin hope so bearing in mind figures of £2000 was mentioned, then I'm sure there was a thread about some headers and a roll cage that the other party wasn't happy about.

even the court of law says your wrong and need to take care of your responsibilities.

no mater what is said, i can not believe that everyone who has had a problem with you is wrong, lying and your innocent of all charges.
you hear a bad story, you tend to write it off as a disagreement, you hear another and you say ok but start to wonder, but after several all saying the same sort of thing? well it kinda speaks for itself.

Hi,
there are no issues to address, what Mr.Davies has posted is again complete and utter lies, I spoke to him many times regarding the out standing excess, he never mentioned any problems apart from the fact we had fitted orange indicator bulbs rather than silver tech, all I did get was excuses and in the end violent threats, which involved the police, on our side I might add.

All parts removed were scrap, and even if any were salvagable from the skip they are the property of the insurers not Mr.Davies.

Finally I have been in contact with the insurers throughout this entire case, they are waiting for a final result, if its not cleared up they will sue Mr.Davies for breach of contract as he has not up held his side of the deal, i.e. he has to pay the first £400.00 of any claim, which ironicly he can get back from the third part who has addmitted liability, although he probably allready has.

Cheers
Kev

This thread needs locking FFS. Absolutely no one involved is coming out of it with any sense of grace.

Someone (or quite possibly both parties) is being conservative with the truth. Daz's reputation is in ruins, some of it down to himself undoubtedly, and he won't be able to sell anything on here again.

Right from the original post from one of the Scoobyclinic guys (Why? to gloat about a court case? ) they have not exactly done themselves any favours in the whole thing and at best have acted 'unproffesionally' in saying things they should not really be saying to the likes of Tidgy who just want to do a bit of *** kissing to SC and trouble stirring.

So as entertaining at it is, you all look like chumps i am afraid. Best just shut up and move on IMHO.

True enough comment...

I've followed some of Daz's threads re: his project and the like and he's always been enthusiastic and helpful to others.

I hope he sorts himself out, as he's obviously been through some issues lately, and much as its entertaining, its also upsetting for some people.

Hopefully all will be resolved and Snet can be full of happy bunnies once more.

Good luck Daz !!

I love the way that people who have nothing to do with this know more about it than either myself or SC.

For people's information the car was stationary when this happened and no engine damage occured. The pulleys were un marked.

The damage was done during a horredously acrimonious divorce and the wife mentioned is now an ex wife hopefully that should shut the conspiracy to commit insurance fraud advocators up!!

Kev, the pictures speak for themselves, you've said you'd do the colour coding, its clearly unfinished, the goods you claim to be the insurance company's property did not need to be replaced in the first place.

You're also saying that you have actually purchased every part in a room full to the rafters with second hand parts. None of them are from insurance jobs??

Funny about the insurance company Kev they've not once written to me about it. All Mods were declared thanks.

The police did visit my house after a heated phone call between ourselves in which you were the first one to start swearing and trading insults.

After explaining the situation and playing the actual conversation between Kev and myself had to the officer concerned ( mobile phones can quite easily record conversations) he couldn't believe SC had the audacity to be the ones to call them. Needless to say no further action was taken after the one and only visit.

As I mentioned previously Kev you'd have had payment in full had I not heard of your victorious rantings trying to humiliate me further.

I've admitted my fault in some areas of this matter but you refuse to accept some responsibility despite photoraphic proof earlier in the thread that you didn't finish the job ( the rear skirts) you replaced stuff you didnt need to replace (with inferior items too). I still have the pink rectfication notice given to me by the police dated two days after I picked the car up form yourselves after a repair to the front end with dangerously aligned headlights!!!

All I've ever wanted out of this was my car finished, and to its pre accident standard.

I never got that, you wouldn't give me that despite speaking to regarding the matter (by your own admission too).

You can tell these inflamatory lies all you wish.
You'll notice the pictures of my car (actually taken in your workshop) where the car has no colour coding and one taken after where it's unfinished (rear skirts)

I've had no choice but to deny you the excess because you didn't finish the job. It was only a day or so later (because of the headlight issue) that I noticed the headlamp levelling motors were missing!!!

Atleast have the bollocks to stand up and admit your part in this and we might get somewhere in resolving it.

Incedently the fella who threatened my sister, niece and nephew and later myself did so infront of about 20 witnesses. The police officers concerned have already told me the fella got exactly what he deserved and I acted in nothing more than self defence.

Mark you're right about my reputation it's in tatters and admittedly some of it is my own doing. Atleast our dealings were honest, straight forward and friendly.

Jesus, Daz and I have something in common. His (ex) wife does that and my ex-wife actually jumped on my bonnet in a mad fit and tried to pull off my wipers....she was and still is slightly mental
