Rogue Leader on the Gamecube

I picked the game up on Sunday, and it's taken me till about 1hr ago to finish modding the JAP Gamecube, so I camn play USA games on it. Apart from having a manic time in finding a tool bit that can unscrew the external torque screws, I managed to rip the machine apart and fit the mod switch. The solder points for the switch are a right nightmare, and I was very surprised it all worked once it was put back together again.............I will be well pleased if I NEVER have to convert another one of these again!!!!
Anyway down to the game.............
Havent had much playing time, but from what I have played it is very good. The graphics are top notch (the best I have ever seen on any Star Wars licence) and with playability to match.
It is true what Daz had said on a previous thread (I think it was Daz), that there is some slowdown........BUT, it is only evident if you know what your looking for and doesnt detract from the gameplay (when the gameplay gets frantic, it looks like it switches from 60fps to 30fps, which when considering the amount of detail on the screen is still awesome IMHO).
More game testing to follow tomorrow.......

Not on your nelly!!!!!!!!!!
But.........just to show what the machine can do.
This game really does look like the effects in the REAL film!!!
Plus....all the effects and music are pumped out in 5.1 DD.
Thank crunchie for Dolby Digital and Bump Mapping!!!!!

Lovely.
Shaun - where do you find the time ? X-Box, GameCube, PS2, PC ?!!
I'm only jealous.
I'll get my US GameCube the day Zelda arrives. Absolutely loved that game on N64 (takes a big kid to say that)
