i noticed loads with the text on games to be honest.

how are you finding blacksite? i know everybody said it was rushed and unfinished, and a few levels have what looks like missing textures (inside the garages on the culdesac level = lol)

but i actually quite liked the game

**** service from MS already. total joke. situation is I tried to place a repair order online but having entered my home details as asked and getting to the final page there was no option to get the console collected from my work address. I clicked BACK to try change the info but could not do so decided to call them instead. They said I'd initiated the repair online which I hadn't as I never submitted the info. Seems a problem with their site. I then was told to call back yesterday so they could cancel it and place a new repair order. Did so and they told me it had gone through. No labels in my email so phoned back just now. Apparently it hadn't gone through again and he tried one more time for me. It failed. He's now getting a supervisor to sort it for me which can take 72 hours.

This is terrible service considering these things fail so often.

I quite liked too it to be honest, although it always seems to give me a bad head - trying to differentiate between all the shades of brown I reckon! Some elements are a bit shoddy though - there's loads of achievements based around using weapons "x" number of times, but no statistics to let you know how you're progressing with them.

Are the missing textures down to the Unreal engine though - Gears Of War aside, it's a load of pants - textures are always going walkabouts especially in Mass Effect & R6V2. It's getting to the point now that when I see a loading screen with "Powered by Unreal Technology" I'm thinking "Aww Nooo!!!"

Give me a shout if you fancy doing some of the online stuff though.

I did mine online and still had it collected from work. Just ask UPS to collect from there instead when you call them.

Mind you, they come here every day so I don't have to call them.

thing is, i bought it (full RRP)
played it, posted about it and then was told by loads of people it was ****, then the developers posted on the net about it going straight from beta to shipping within a very small time frame and it was rushed out the door bigstyle

within a few days some places were offering it brand new for around £20, so i figured i would whip past the game on easy difficulty and trade it in while it was still worth something, IIRC i got £30 back for it within 2 weeks.

i`m going to buy another pre owned copy at a later date when its down to £10 (think they were at £15 when i last checked)

i did get a few of the online achievements on the night of release, but not very many people were playing, the following few days, i saw the numbers dropping even more, could have been a really good game if it was not rushed so much.

the final level is anything but brown coloured

Think I paid £20 for it - Gamestation had on offer for £25 on the weekend of its release IIRC...

Not really that bad a game, I've not across anything glaringly obvious...
