Hi Simon.
I have such an issue with a 2004 forester xt UK model. It has the sigma M30 alarm system and I can't program new keys for the immo. The car wouldn't just start. The previous mechanic even lost the transponder that I knew was good. So I guess it's an all keys lost issue. Help me please.
Thanks

if you've lost all your keys then you'll have to get a new key programmed to the immobiliser box (the ecu will already be paired to the immobiliser as it hasn't been switched). You'll need an SSM tool for that so find a good auto locksmith or phone your local subaru dealer. Alternatively find a breaker and pickup a key/lockset, ecu, immobiliser box and fit them all as a matched set and you'll be up and running again.
