now thats been said, can anyone tell me how big the turn out was? was it counted as successful?
hope so

That's because most of the time they all stand around and talk bollocks. Who wants to talk when they've traveled 200+ miles one way for there to be 20 people turn up for a fuel protest.
BTW, nothing special about Ace Cafe, IMO.

Yeah, Im glad I saw the cafe as it is such an icon of motorcycling. But then we got there and it was... "You what? Where's the rest of it?". Really disappointing.

At least we all turned out to show our support. I can see your point.
As for the Cafe. The food was nice.

Investigation on the Guzzi shows the coils and HT leads are fine, battery is fine. Major suspects now are the digital ignition system (a little) or a faulty crankshaft speed sensor (highly likely). German Silent Hektik or Italian Magnetti Marelli...which is more likely to be utter pants?

Not yet.
During testing, the dash lights totally failed to light. Turns out there was about 2" of acid in the battery.
Whether the battery caused the issue (and the digital ignition shut down because of lack of power) or the breakdown caused the battery to die Im not sure. Still odd that it didnt spark when on the RAC mans battery charger.
First job is a new battery, then I need to check the crankshaft sensor and...then what?
Dont worry, Ill get it sorted, whatever it takes. Cheers for asking

That's bloody charming aint it??? Standin around talking bollocks? whats's the point of joining a group of people if you think that they all talk bollocks??? If you got out of your car and came into the Ace Cafe, you'd have seen that there is a great atmosphere in there and as said before, the food is great Each to their own at the end of the day though, if you wanna drive 200 miles and sit in your car all day that's up to you
