I was complaing about the automatic denigration of blacks by another poster. I wonder if what you saw was influenced by concentration of numbers in a particular community though.

Political Correctness: Supression of the truth to avoid that anyone could possibly ever be offended. There's a bit too much of it going on in this thread IMHO.

It happens quite a lot these days

Racism, is about hating an entire race. Not about having issues with an individual OR not wanting to forsake your national identity.

Aye true enough there are exceptions in every case.

As Hol said, being a racist is about hating an entire race, which I'm sure only a very small minority do. When people get pissed off and angry they will use whatever offense they can find. Most people use their differences to cause offence. Fat, ugly, skinny, black, rag head etc.

When I was in the TA doing basic training at Grantham, I overheard two English drill instructors talking about how the place would be better without "the fooking Jockanese". Still makes me laugh !
