Few pics of this years updates....

New wheels, Compomotive MO 10x18 et 20.

And they are a bit wide...

And here's what's hiding behind them..

Decided to paint my rear Brembo's to match.

Got this little puppy to go on..

Which fits here.

I've also decided to tidy up my engine bay for 2010.

Battery tray, washer bottle and fuse box are being re-located from here.

I am also relocating the ABS pump from the drivers side inner wing, along with re-routing of the major wiring.

Air con system is now in the bin.

Quick mock up of the new pipework..

And how the car looks tonight...

The original brakes were sold when I parted the car out...

These came up for sale a short while back for a very reasonable price, so I snapped them up.

Awesome Neil, the wheels and brakes the car should have worn from day one.

Is that a 35R I see or a 3040?

Either way, I f'kin love it!

Yup, wheels and brakes as they should have been, although I got to be honest and say that I never had any trouble with the K sports.

35R.

Cheers Paul.

Been trying to get my inner wings sorted, well at least one of them.

Battery tray and various mounting brackets now removed from the nearside.

The battery will be going in the boot, whereas the washer bottle and fuse box are being relocated underneath.

I'll let the pics do the talking...

And the outside where the fuse box, and washer bottle is mounted..

On the offside the ABS pump is now relocated under the inner wing..

Starting to look a tiny bit neater.

Managed to get the engine bay painted today.

Notice there are now no holes along the top scuttle panel, and both inner wings are now sorted.

Any redundant holes on the slam panel are now gone...

The drivers side inner wing was replaced by a complete new section, with just one hole for the intercooler pipework.

Very, very neat Neil. Wish I could be bothered with the attention to detail like yourself. More of a functional type person myself

Particularly like the washer bottle idea, I wonder if I could do something similar on my type R build. May check that one out tomorrow.

Cheers Clive.

Relocation of the washer bottle is really easy to be honest, and the fuse box isn't muuch more work.

Makes changing spark plugs a damn sight easier..

Apart from the exterior not being totally fresh paintwork, the car is 100% going to be much much better...

Trying like crazy to get at done for the end of the month...

Lovely work

Being the perfectionist that you are, I guess that the wheels are changing colour. Are you matching the white from the bodywork or going for something different?

I'm not sure right now.

To be honest I was quite surprised how white the wheels were, and make my white car look yellow...

I am going to see how it all looks when it is all built up, and go from there..

Cheers for the comments chaps.

Got a few bits bolted up today..

Washer bottle and fuse box in..

ABS pump and new relocated brake lines in place.

Bit of a change regarding under bonnet colour, gone for anthracite instead of black...

Also relocated the clutch reservoir.

Done a fair bit of the rewiring, along with the new hidden routing.

Boost solenoid will now be placed under the servo, out of sight-ish, and close to the wastgate.
