Wierd thing is I've done quite a few single player races and it's been ok (prolly a fluke).
Gonna try a series of races tonight which it kept freezing on (C class Pro series) and try and kill the bloody thing once and for all!

As the Nascar saying goes "fast and loose" I can't drive a grippy car it needs to move a bit in the corner to get a time from it for me

Is it messed with much (eg suspension), or just wings and gears?
In any case, it seems to work ok - 53.119 (on a pad, ABS, Auto) Fairly happy with that. Need to get rid of the autobox, but the button setup just doesn't seem to work for me
Just don't throw me challenges with powerful rear wheel drive cars.

The suspension is changed but not a lot really.That setup can turn into more oversteer by taking just a few lbs of downforce from the rear wing.
I don't find it understeers that much.I think for those laptimes your right on the limit of what the rubber can hold onto no matter what the setup is.

52:975 for me 
I so wanted to get into the 52's and even then I screwed up a couple of bits, just can not put that perfect lap together 
Well relieved now can sleep easy at last (its an achievement when you're as cr4p as I am!)
Also quickest time in the World with auto gears. Now have to do it properly with the wheel and manual gears.

Cheers the controller for me is way faster than the wheel on that last s bend. Can you watch your own ghosts? I never thought of saving the replay as I wanted to upload my time before something happened like the 360 crashing lol Want to try and take the last s bend the same using the wheel as I do with the controller.

When you next try the time trial on that course, it'll remember your fastest lap and display the ghost.
Mines just completed a 30 lap endurance race (hired a driver) without locking up!?!
LMAO, I've just tried the race that would ALWAYS lock up my 360. It's the New York race in the final race of the C-Class Pro series (i'm driving the Elise 135R). And guess what, 2 laps in and it's locked up tighter than, erm, a tight thing!
No red lights still though!

I'm off to try now with the wheel, manual gears and Eds or Neanderthals car setup to see how I go. Got F1 practice on telly and its making me even worse at wanting to play Forza all weekend long, its an addiction

I give up with the wheel I really do, it understeers massively compared to the controller. I take the same line, gear and speed and the controller it goes round fine yet with the steering wheel it just understeers off the track. I don't get it

See we are down to rank #3-#5, gutted ive been knocked down to #13ish
. will have to finish work and get some times in.My housemate has suggested that the top 8 SNetters have a multiplayer race on final day of the time trial on the time trial track, what are peoples thoughts?? personally think it will make for some bloody good (interesting/scrappy) racing

Glad its not just me then, thought it was me just being incredibly uncoordinated. It made me so frustrated earlier that the wheel doesn't behave the same as the controller it ruins the game for me getting that annoyed. Think I will have to use the controller for SN challenges and the wheel for career mode where its less challenging and more about fun.

Any more thoughts on a weekly race on the TT track as Ive mentioned before ? we should know the track n car by now !!
