Exactly, I can keep with the ghost car till that point but Ed just carries so much speed through there he`s gone, I usually fluff it up from then on trying to hard to make time up. And still can`t improve on my time, I might have to invest in a wheel

Off topic a bit, regarding friends request, I`m getting requests from people I`ve never heard of, Yanks, Chinese etc.. (usually after being on McRaeDirt) What do you do there then? Accept? Is this normal for complete strangers sending friends requests? I`ve checked the S/Net list and none of them are on there.

1/2 second would be all my best corners in 1 lap I'm faster through the first corner and the chicane than Edcase but just can't get through the dip and up the hill with the same pace

it's a circuit that needs a very good setup

not given tha last one a go yet. I'll stick a setup on the proker and give it a whirl.

Are you guys using a wheel, i tried using pad lastnight and was about 2 seconds out :d

Also, when racing against ed's ghost, why is there 2 ghost cars on the first lap ? (i understand there being another ghost on the 2nd lap)

The 2nd ghost is your best time Bob.
After the 1st lap there will be 3 ghosts (unless you beat your previous best time of course)

LOL this track kind of lends itself to that closeness of times though. Basically, it's a full throttle with 2-3 tricky bits. Obviously it's the tricky bits where people make up the difference.

My setup is there to be used so feel free.

I was going down the route of less downforce to set the back end free a bit. That slowed me down on the exit of the chicane. So back on with the downforce and the time got quicker.

The top slot if there for the taking. My second fastest ghost is 2-3 tenths faster through the chicane at the end of the lap.

I know I`ve read it somewhere, cant find it though, but how do you get someone elses set-up?

 

Highlight the track you're about to race on, press 'Y' to get to the score board, then select the person you want to have the setup from, you should be able to get their setup (if they used a non standard setup) and race their ghost as well.

I was sat just behind Eds ghost, I actually passed it going down towards the left/right, oh the excitement, dont out brake yourself, steady, steady, lots of caution, left/right, nail it! I`m still infront! This cant be, I cant beleive it. Too bloody right I cant beleive it, I took too much kerb going in towards the finish line and promptly threw the car into the tyre wall then crossing the line backwards I think I`ll leave it alone for another day

Tried your setup briefly last night, bejebus you like the car loose! I was off the track more than I was on it
Then my xbox froze so gave up racing and did a bit of carbon fibring in the design edittor after I reset it.
