Any chance of a frontal aspect to check the jugal prominence?

Thanks, root . I'm considering getting a multitool tomorrow for that very reason. I don't think it's cheating - a tools a tool, innit? Otherwise I'd have had to hack it all out with my teeth and fingernails. I don't think the jugal will jut as much in the sculpture as it does in reality.

Bought a £10 cheapie non-Dremel on fleabay which has done a few jobs and lasted more than a year so far. Mind, I haven't tried excavating teeth from an oak T-Rex yet.

60+ accessories plus the tool.... £10, cheaper than a 5 minute handjob in Kings Cross! ........... Although maybe not as satisfying......... let's see how yours turns out.

Yes, I'm looking at the copy rather than the "brand" myself. With the basic Dremel kit, you get very few accessories. If I start doing more sculpture, then I might start looking at more long-lived tools. I've had a reasonable offer for the T-rex, but I think it should be worth a little more with the right standard of finish.

Yeah, I gotta admit that is bloody good. But what are you going to do with it when you've finished though Bubba? eBay??? It's a bit unique, and perhaps better kept in the hands of the maker.

(But you still need a Dremel, you tight wad! )

The finish should be wax and wire wool, but you gotta "finish" it first. Tell ya wot.... got a nice 60+ accessory Demel like unit, used a few times, good nick, to you fella, I'm not asking £30, I'm not asking £40, I'm not asking £50.... it's yours for a paltry £55, come on ... hands up... I ain't got all day, I got some bacon and steaks to sell from this van.

You're starting to come over a bit sad now, Robin. When did you last sculpt anything? And, to be honest, don't you find the whole idea of "qualifying" in art to be an utter sham? If you can paint, draw, sculpt, or anything else, it doesn't matter what your qualifications are, does it? Neither does it matter what you choose to paint, draw or sculpt with, whether it be the tools you use or the medium you work upon. If you're going to be snide all the time get the **** off of my thread.

It's Bob, as most of my friends know. It's not a question of "handling it", BTW. You definitely have a bitter edge to your posting on this subject, and it's making you look a bit... er... jealous.

Fair point. I think you're right.

Regarding the second sentance, here's something I uploaded earlier today as it happens...
