True
I also forgot to mention the 2 x original gameboys, 1 gameboy advance, 1 gameboy sp, and an Atari Lynx
Read the thread
General concensus is that wireless networking is pretty useless in a "media" oriented console, especially where streaming content is concerned. MS made a good decision making it optional. I for one would never use it.

Just followed the link to that page, 360 looks cool in black but it mentions no wi-fi, is that right? 360 doesn't have wi-fi? Surely a missed opportunity there.

I use it and it streams fine from my laptop to the 360 for both WMV files and music. Photo's stream across quickly too. Setting up wireless on the 360 is such a faff they really should have built it in for what it costs.
Well, they haven't included wireless and that's that. I know my feelings on the issue.
Still, makes no odds to me, no way am I buying an "elite" box to replace my Premium.
I presume at some point they are going to release the 120GB as an add on (at some extortionate price)

They have already announced it Pete (in the USA). It works out at about £95. A bit pricey, but not massively so (when you consider that a similar spec laptop HD is around £86).
It's a shame they didn't use a fiull size drive in the machine instead of the smaller one. Would have reduced the cost a fair amount...

Yup - I can understand it for aestetic reasons, it does fit quite nicely and is obviously a breeze to fit. But it would have been nice to be able to swap in any old 3.5" drive.
I sat down with Albert Penello to get some of your questions answered. Yes, it has HDMI & 120GB hard drive. No, it doesn't have an HD-DVD player. Yes you can still pull audio separate from the HDMI. No, it isn't going to be a limited edition.

Well the quote I read from MS said that the elite console as a whole isn't a limited edition, but the black version of it is. Once the batch has sold (rumoured to be around 200,000 units) they will start producing them in white instead.
I guess we'll find out soon enough

That would nearly be funny if it made any sense
I'm certainly not a fanboy of any kind. In my games room (bedroom) I currently have a ps1, ps2, psp, dreamcast, nes, snes, megadrive, game gear, atari st, amiga a600, 2 pcs, and a 360. I'd have a ps3 as well now if there were any reason to get one. If that makes me a Microsoft fanboy then so be it.
