Think the A4 Rob is more than a tonne.

I think it is the big 3 day meeting at Shelsley? (actually 2 day, Fri Sat + invitation only Sunday extravaganza!

It's practice friday, racing saturday for the regular meeting (as in us lot), then a celebration of 60 years meeting invitation only on sunday, ex champions etc.

I said a tonne Graham because that is what Murray told me.

Agree, but the first ones are good too especially the venue!

Bored this weekend as I was all ready to run the 911 at Prescott till the phone call on Friday.
Cleaned all the Sti suspension and a bit of 'reverse engineering' underside too.
Must go faster after that?

Every time i look at the Sti I think how heavy everything is and how much you could bin if it were not a road car....

Just needs a 2.5/ppg now.

Easy.

Graham, I've got a forged 2.5 you could buy, only thing is you'd need to buy the whole car!!!

Cheers!

LOL!
There is a Type R for sale with stacks of mods on it with a 2.35 no less but stock gearbox for £11.
That is the whole immaculat car with an engine like that.
The engine would cost 8 alone!

Well done with the sponsorship Pete, what can they do for the car?

That doesn't bode well for me getting reasonable money for mine then, I was going to aim for 12/13 with the 5k engine and the 2k exe-tc.

Where's the Type -R advertised?

In the for Sale section, not the car section.
It is black and the engine was a Projects Feature for months.

Sorry to say it Wadsy but I think your aiming far too high there mate, mods add very little residual value to cars compared to their worth it seems, you need to shop around and see what similar cars are going for. 13k can buy you a full blown race car these days.

You could be right Rob, although it has cost me about 18k in parts (including the car) and another 5k-ish in labour!!

Oh no......
You really don't want to be doing that Pete, you want a nice tidy Impreza to enjoy honest...

Look forward to it all.
Hope this will unfold in 2007.

Graham.

Rob:
I've heard that there has been a lot of soil washed down over Shelsley from the spectator area putting that part of the hill at risk.

The big 3 day meet MIGHT be cancelled.

Just a heads-up.

This week you will need a boat to find the beer...
I think Loton is still on for the weekend.

Shelsley on 17th&18th has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled for October so I am told. Depressing stuff, the season is falling apart.

That is right, got my letter today.

Prescott has lost the run up to Semi and the return road is broken in 2 places!

Loton is go!
That is the beauty of being built on porous rock.

Rain, what rain? Come and join our championship in sunny Cyprus. 43 degrees today and has been for a week, and over 35 for the past two months. Nice in a racing suit, helmet and car with no ventilation. Only problem is tarmac melts a little, but lots of grip.
