It's a single track road so I'm not sure how different you can be, I did the same as Roger Moran just his car accelerates faster.

Default race meet?

Is there any racing this week end??? 16th or 17th June.

Really fancy watching some hill climbing, competing would be good but neither me or scooby up to it at the min.

Help! Where can I find competition number stickers for the doors? I assumed somewhere like Hobbycraft might have then but they had nothing. They didn't even have plain white sticky backed plastic sheets for me to make my Ignition Off sticker !!

They do! But 7 days delivery time for a pack of race numbers, and I'm not sure of my start number yet (though I think it's going to be 23!

Could be the old black electrical tape trick at this rate!

I know there are a million different ways to drive a hill from my very short time in the sport, but that was a bad run by me, very slow and careful up the straight, annoying to watch back personaly, I just thought the camera view was cool and worth a look for people to get a take on what Loton and hill-climbing is all about and a good addition to the thread. I guess my power helps to keep my times lowish even when I am driving like a muppet. Get your 2.5 500/500 and you will be in the 55's!

Good news for Graham is that Nick James' Porsche has been sold so he's only using the Honda now!

If you remember when we first went to watch dad racing 4/5 years ago and evos and quattros were our favourite cars getting to see them lauch and go flat out was amazing and something we had never got to see before, so yours and dads burn outs is an impressive sight to people used to seeing road cars, especially with all the noise and flames your cars spit out. Seems Imprezas arent interesting enough to video though.

Hi Rob,

I am entered at Shelsley next weekend, see your family are out. I had a disaster on Friday!

Remember that tidy RA STi at MIRA I was driving......well it was having a gearbox fitted but the car ramp failed!

It fell 6 feet onto its side.

My pride and joy was removed from the workshop chained to a JCB, drivers side up!

Its a write off!

Working in Germany Sunday to Tuesday, trying to get a car built for the weekend, wish me luck.

GUTTED!

Yes, weird that.
Apparently they will not award a class win to an FTD.
Never heard of that before, but I'm not complaining.

Came home with a very nice award, Class win on the first Epynt Hill Climb.

Roy's got 540? No wonder I struggled all the time!

It's a legacy of rallying, we never give the overall winner a class award. Perhaps we can start something new in hillclimbing??!!!

Hi mate,
Sorry to hear about your car, I'm sure you will get something together in time. I unfortunatley didn't get an entry to shelsley on the 30th I left is too late and it was full, the same has happened at Loton on the 7th & 8th. Problem is I entered all the important 'A' meets in 1 hit in february to get them out the way, almost £1k in entries leaving no spare cash for the B's. So I'm having to fill in the B meets as the season goes on which means some of the more popular events are full way before I can afford to enter, I just entered 4 B's across July, Shelsley Prescott and 2 dayer @ Loton so maybe our paths will cross at one of them. I will be there to watch at shelsley so I hope you get a car together in time mate!

Quite often you will be refused a B Shelsley if you do the A's regularly and are doing well in a Championship.
Not sure about Prescott.
I'm racing the 911 at Pres/Shels in July if I'm accepted for their classic meets.

Doing mass entries is the best way if you can, but £1000! TA is only a little more than that! (there's a thought...)
