As long as eveyone keeps a look out for cars coming up behind them, and sticks to only overtaking on the straights when the car in front indicates you can do so, I don't feel that there is a safety problem.
Running a cheap car does allow you push it harder as there is much less to loose, should you go off + make a mess of it. At end of the day you still need to drive safely as there are other people there too!
Anyway, liking the look of some of the trackday motors going. Mine is in bits at the moment as the seller did not tell me about the oil/water leaks (spark plug recess full of oil as rocker cover gasket leaking badly + water pump bearing gone which means coolant drains completely overnight!) New parts now here so I have some work to do!
see you all there!

i will be joining you guys in an evo. i was just reading an noticed the guy mention going on with a L200 as a joke. i went there last year and some *** went on in 4x4 and drove over all the tyres at speed throwing them up in the air. i had to dodge them and nearly crashed in to the big hay bail. the missus was complaining cause she got rubber in her eyes when i naturally changed from loosing it in to a couple of doughnuts. maybe i should have shut the windows. anyway hope to see you all there and no evils or daggers cause im in an evo :-)

Performance Testing - Racelogic Drift Box
Just to say I shall be bringing along the Racelogic Drift Box, which I am more than happy to put in any car on the day - the only downside is my lardy **** in the passenger seat.
The following link shows you what it measures DriftBox Overview
But in simple terms if you want to test your cars performance or your driving skills its pretty handy - it even scores you on drift angle and speed if you want - for the Sticky's of this world.
So come and find me on the day if you want to try it out - Black STi driven by a 6 foot red head - not too hard to miss.
Dave

Hi everyone,
I am not going to be able to make this trackday now, my partners lesbian sister has decided she is getting married that day.
( Dont ask which one is wearing the suit)
So my place is up for grabs, first person to PM me can have my place for nothing and I will contact the fella's organising it.
See you all at the next one, hopefully no more gay weddings planned.
