Yes the gearbox is a beaut.
Esp. with quickshift.
Shame the Scoob not so good.
Gary you cannot sell it.
I really think the standard car is really good and hard to beat.
New standard suspension with everything new and replaced probably as good as any upgrade stuff and cheaper too for road only use.
A couple of great track cars for sale recently not cheap cheap though.

Few years ago there was a sorrento green 205 with a genuine turbo technics conversion.
I bought my impreza instead - so sad I never actually went to see the car.
If only I had a double garage

I'm in the middle of building an E30 at the moment. When that's done and proved itself the 205 will be up for sale. I cant justify both of them living in Germany
It will be a really sad day for me when the old girl goes, in 3 years the worst that's happened is I blew a gearbox and that was my own stupid fault
You never know maybe the E30 will be crap and I will keep the 205 I seriously doubt that though, it's having all the right bits thrown at it
DW ........ you probably wont believe me when I say i'm sorry to hear your car isn't everything you wanted it to be. We had a good few laughs about Mi 'V' 8 valve. Maybe we got it the wrong way round, your Mi should be living at the ring, and my car thrashing round the local A roads ........ I hope the suspension makes it better for you

I'm not really bothered, I like it when I take it on a thrash, its just not so easy to live with when driving down to the bank or post office.
Think i'm just getting old tbh, a std 8V appeals to me, the throttle bodied and cammed 16v can be hard work.
Still glad I did it all though, learnt a lot about cars.
