noticed the visibility thing....come to think of it, I have parking sensors on the rear which should help.

Mateeboy - to be honest having 2 cars of the same make was one of the reasons against buying the Octavia but the Fabia (wifes car) is a cracking motor. Safe to say that I'm not particularl badge conscious

Having had two subarus one being a wagon,i would say for sure my mk1 octavia is by far the best car i have owned.I have added a Miltek cat back and a jabba induction kit and it still gets 37-40mpg regularly.servicing is cheap and generally feels it will last.

First time I test drove a vRS the most obvious required option was rear parking sensors

I reversed into a post the second day I had it

Not a mark on it though, luckily. V low speed.
