Skoda marketing must LOVE yoU!!

Sounds nice to me - Good to see more and more people ignoring badges and buying purely on merit.

eta - although the rear visibility is diabolical.
noticed the visibility thing....come to think of it, I have parking sensors on the rear which should help.

Mateeboy - to be honest having 2 cars of the same make was one of the reasons against buying the Octavia but the Fabia (wifes car) is a cracking motor. Safe to say that I'm not particularl badge conscious

Having had two subarus one being a wagon,i would say for sure my mk1 octavia is by far the best car i have owned.I have added a Miltek cat back and a jabba induction kit and it still gets 37-40mpg regularly.servicing is cheap and generally feels it will last.

First time I test drove a vRS the most obvious required option was rear parking sensors
