I have just sat here and read through all these posts and i cant believe some of you people, "outlaw staffordshire bull terries" all i got to say to you people is get fcuked
, WHY should i have my dogs taken off me because some ***** abuses their dog, basically screws its head up.
For other people im asking you to watch this the pit bull problem (what is man without the beasts?) - flash all of it plz.
Know-one here has mentioned that the SBT is named "The Nanny Dog" because they are good with children.Ive owned staffies for the last five years and not once have my dogs gone for anyone or dog for that matter.
Pitbulls are not the problem, HUMANS are.If a dog is brought up right then it will be loyal to the end.

This attitude confirms that we think the owners of these kind of dogs are as aggressive idiots.
Dave
Edited to say: Besides, to me (not a dog lover you could say) all these hard dogs look the same. Your "Staff" looks like a killer, banned dog to me, I can't tell the difference......and you only bought it to look tough

Forget it. The Police and Goverment couldnt give a **** about this problem.
A violent "Attitude" on the street is common practise these days. Flaunting "Hardness" etc. More damage is done by the owners of these dogs than the the dog its self. There was one in London last year . th eguy would walk around with it. Both as dangerous as hell. so one day it was killed. (Not by Police) some local had decided enough was enough and killed it.
The problem is the Bad owners. street chav scum. sort this issue out first as it a greater problem

From: R.I.P Piphead, at least you are home now :(
Just read that my local council (St Helens) have asked people to be vigilant and report anyone who they think has a banned dog
Good job some of the people on this thread don't live in my street otherwise I would end up being reported for having my 'devil dog'
At least half of my neighbours are dog savvy, and have a number of dogs themselves and are fully aware that Staffies are lovely fine dogs
Merseyside police are calling for an amnesty, but are asking that people do not just dump their dogs in the street or take them to the dog warden just yet

As for the people i have "insulted" what gives you the right to tar staffie/rottie or any other "hard" dogs with that brush,i didnt buy my dogs because i thought they may grow into some hard nut case of an animal, the only time my dogs even bark is when some-one knocks the door.So dont comment on some thing you know nothing about.
There are two reasons as far as im concerned why a dog will turn out bad.
1) Is the owner - if the dogs is brought up right and socialised with other people and dogs,i addmit owners should be vetted and should need a licence,I would have nothing to hide neather should any other proper dog owner.
2)If you buy a dog from a "back street breeder" which has just breed any two dogs for a few quid then you have no backround to where the breeding lines have come from.Get in touch with the kennel club to see which breeders they would recommend.
I cant judge on the dog involed with the lastest issue because ive never seen it.A number of things could have made it turn, NEW YEARS EVE there are alot of fireworks, this could have made the dog scared, unsecured.I know of quite a few dogs that lose it due to fireworks but im lucky cos my 2 aint bothered and then the issues that have come up with the case, the guy was a drug dealer so it may have been abused/mis-treated.

I have a quick poll for you guys.
How many of you have acually owned a staff ?
If you have watched this video the pit bull problem (what is man without the beasts?) - flash at the end of it,it tells you that a pitbull was fourth from bottom on a survey with recorded attacks,i think labs and collies were top.

You've obviously got more bottle than some of the other owners on this thread who I happen to know fit the profile and yet they haven't admitted it.
