There are only 5 decent Ms made
E30 M3 EVO
E28 M5
E34 M5
E39 M5
E46 M3 CSL (purely due to the CSL tweeks)
Any other M isn't worth sniffing at unless used for meer posing purposes
The e60 M5 is also good but only suitable for Star Trek gurus

Technically it was the M635 CSi, it was never called the M6 so I didn't catogorise it as an M car (although it is). It had the same engine as the e28 M5, but the M635CSi was also slightly heavier. They are quite comparable cars, just the e28 M5 was alot more subtle.
Also, the Batmobile is not a 635/6series, It is a 3.0 CSL homogation special based on the E9 chassis. A race car that was produced to satisfy production quotas. I suppose it could be included seeing that I included the E30 M3 (another homologation car).
I didn't even consider the BMW M1, as, barring the engine (shared with other Ms ) its a totally different animal, made from the ground up for its puprose and not using lesser cooking counterparts as a base car like all the other Ms. In otherwords, its a supercar.
I forgot about the M coupe...that's one of the best ones, oops

Currently have an RS4 B7 and the current M3 doesn't come close in terms of drive and power.
The new one however will be stunning and the V8 will be to die for,
I have had an M6 for a month and BMW really do know how to make a decent car. I despise everything about the BMW's stigma and the attitude of the majority of their drivers BUT they do make a cracking car.
I won't be selling my RS4 for the new M3 though!
Awesome ain't the word.

Yes,though DMS Remaps are notoriously expensive at around £600 (especially to those that have just forked out 35k on a car),and as everyone know's,the difficulty rating of plugging a laptop into a diagnostic port is as hard as chewing granite isn't it .
Well done matey .
Well done matey .

Evo 10's will be ****tin all over that barge and MK2 cupra R's will be up its backside.

You name any Audi (bar the RS4 as it 's the first Audi to address the problem) that have better driving dynamics than it's BMW equivalent??

And unless you get the less comfortable M-package for your beemer it doesnt srive all that well as people would like to think.
Anyway
The mk2 TT is better than the Z4 (Z4 is better for track due to aggressive setup, TT better for everyday)
The RS4 is better than the M3
The S8 is better than the disatrous 7er.
Q7 and X5 is arguable.
Us petrolheads can sit here all year round and extol the virtues of whichever layout and brand only to realise that to 90% of our family, friends and colleagues: it doesn't matter. Most of them could care less. For the rest that do pretend that it matters do so based on what they've been told and not what they understand.
Sorry gang, but us folks here in scoobynet-land are in a minority - most of the car-buying public don't care (most of them don't even know) about front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
What the general public does understand (and desire) is a car that accelerates powerfully in a straight line and corners securely around bends. The notions of understeer and oversteer never even come to mind.
And the thing that audi is undisputedly the best at? Its the most consistent performer, in all weather conditions its right at the top, and we all know that england isnt exactly sunny most of the year, hence you cant go wrong with a AWD audi

I'm not talking about 99% of the driving population, I'm talking about people that enjoy and understand how to drive, and i personally would not trade in nicely weighted steering and a good responsive engine for a car that "accelerates powerfully in a straight line" would you??

The RS4 is better than the M3
The S8 is better than the disatrous 7er. Who cares about the exceutive market people that buy these don't want to feel anything.
Q7 and X5 is arguable. Same as above.

Looking at a lot of your posts, you do seem to make a lot of sweeping and general statements about some pretty high end cars I doubt you have seen in the metal, let alone driven, or owned.
Keep up the good work...

I live and work in London I see these things everyday. Its mondeos and vectras that are few and far inbetween tosser.

What car do you drive? It must be a stonker given your insight into exotica and your high standards regarding car abilities?

That's twice now on this thread that you've called someone you don't know and at the end of the day are only expressing their opinion a "tosser", Now as most people who have read your misguided single marque glorifying twaddle already know it's your good self that's a "tosser"

One and the same? I may have missed previous threads - what does AudiLover drive? An Audi? "I live and work in London and see these things everyday" is a really cheesy comment to make. Have you had a proper test drive of the cars you slag off? The the new M3 will be a cracker! ... and I'd if someone took you round a track in an current E46 M3, it'd blow your socks off...they're awesome machines, even in standard spec.

And no one was saying anything negative about the M3, or slagging off any other car, we were talking about the 335i not being a german jap style power monster with a few mods at which people got offended and attempted to put down audi's.
I drive a S40, Transit Connect and a 2005 E320 Estate.

Why not post up pics of your cars, and your 5 bedroom house in London so we get to know the real Audilover. Becuase to be honest you just come across as a very, very poor troll, in an already overflowing troll market.

Can you explain your love of Audi's as at the moment you don't even own one, have you ever owned one or even driven one for that matter?
Just trying to get my head around your possible blind love for this marque.
