semi-related.

I've lost the noise on mine. Blackjax works, the car lights up like a xmas tree and stops, but no noise now. Neither on un/setting alarm with fob.

Any ideas?

Sorry to bring this thread to the top again, but I really want to try this blackjax (BJ) thing out.

I know what it is suposed to do...cut revs, put hazzards on and sound the siren.

What I want to know is when should use it. As in if I put the code in whilst (activate BJ) on my driveway, then drive to the shops/work. But if I do that I am gonna be breaking and reving the engine....BJ is going to cut in right?

Once I have got to the shops, park up and lock the car in the normal way. Then come back to the car, open the car up and get in, start car and drive of...will this not activate the BJ?

PM me if you like

cheers

Darren

Today I wanted to put what I have learned from you guys and try out the blackjax....it does not work. I switch on the ignition, enter BJax code and the ledlight flashes once then press lock/unlock on the remote within 10 sec I get now churps from the alarm like its says in the book what could be the problem???

I have done some tests that Tony PM'ed to do and still nothing. Does not ask me for the code, nor does the alarm flash or churp at me to enter BJax code.

Perhaps as I have not used this BJax feature on the alarm since I have hyad it installed back in october, perhpas the alarm won't now activate BJax. So perhaps a clifford installer needs to re-set the alarm for me??

you might find it's working OK, but won't operate on a static test as I described There are differnces between Concept alarms with Bjax and Stand alone Bjax IIRC

So stop car open the door 10 secs, and then drive up the road it should operate after 1/2 mile ish the rest of your clifford alarm works OK?
