Just decided to that im going to replace the window in that room with one of ours from work - also I need a fire escape window as I dont have one

windows are only 8 years old anyway and nothing wrong with them TBH but needs must

 

Well I got a fantastic early birthday present from work.

 

Notification that they are closing this office.

 

Moving the operation to the offices of another part of the group in Milton Keynes.

 

There's a job there for me if I want it but I'm fooked if I'm moving to that sh1th0le.

Ive got the fire brigade coming to my house tonight. As we have the little one, they have a programme where they come round and work out your nearest exit points in the event of a fire.

Seeing as we live in a 3 storey house we are pretty limited

Its either a door, first floor window or second floor window

Still will give the neighbours something to talk about

 

was funny, the mrs said to me last night that the fire brigade will give us smoke alarms for the house. I told her we had them already. Ihad to give her a tour to show her where. I didnt ask what she thought the round things were on the ceilings on each floor were

last time I went I was on a long road and my sat nav stopped working but I didnt realise so I continued.

Took me 6 hours for a 2 and a half hour journey

 

then when we realised the sat nav wasnt working, we got it working again and it sent us up to a quarry in the middle of nowhere. Was really scary!

 

sister is coming for the weekend but then they will go on the monday so we have the rest of the week to ourselves

 

mrs is looking to see what there is to do round there that can be done with a baby

Unlucky that Paul - at least youve got notice of it happening and you should get a decent payout and not the government crappy one

 

doesnt make sense imo to move something down south when it would probably cost more in wages there
