It's a different style to H's but looks big enough in the pictures. Got the measuring tape out to compare the dimensions of the lounge etc and its alot bigger than the house we're in.

It's the street closer to the Lancs than H's so there is only one row of houses and gardens between us. Also, this house has a public footpath opposite it which leads straight onto the main road - knowing our cats, they would definately have to explore it.

But the first estate agent estimated the value of our current house 15-20k more than we were expecting so that made up for it a bit.

your house is only worht as much as what someone is willing to pay, the estate agent will value it at a higher value as they hope to get more comission. also what is happening more frequent now is that the mortgage companies are valuing them lower.
