just gave way last night on m60, apparently is was like it was i nthird gear, loads of revs needed to get it going, then it lost all drive and clutch smoking like a ****.
my bet is thrust bearing has failed massively which has then messed everything else up. drove fine previously that day no clutch slip or anything
Must sort mine out though as its in limp mode so wont go above 4.5k rpm tried to do the diagnostics but the check engine light thing isnt working
the guy I bought it off isnt clever enough to do anything like that, however in march this year and engine diagnostic was done using a reader and a cam sensor was allegedly replaced. Im betting they have disconnected the bulb in the dash and charged for a new sensor
need to pop halfrauds today as well I think for a wiring harness for my sony stereo that was in my scooby. Need a vauxhall to sony adaptor connector thing
Vauxhall stereo is on ISO, should already be on the end of the plug if you didn't cut it off, all you need to do is swap the red & yellow wires, so its yellow to red, red to yellow.

It has a philips cd in at the moment so must have already been changed. It is an iso connector, but the one on my sony is of a different type. also the aerial on my sony is a deep socket type, but on the philips its sort of a flat plug. May take the stereo out again and check deeper to see if the wiring is a convertor from the original
