Snake Pass Inn has confirmed a booking for 32 (ish) attendees

Did tell them that it could go either way and be anywhere between 20 & 45 so we should be safe.

I have to ask, cos the insurance co is asking if CB is coming? They know i get red mist, and he cant out-drive me, so they need to ask the risk value of the outing? Just wondering that's all

I know it's Tuesday and Ice melts, but Sticky rang me this morning and a person called Dave rang 5 Live to say that Snake pass is closed due to sheet ice.

Do we need a plan B considering so many people are converging?

Dave - Was that you? The person didn't mention that the first left hand uphill 1st gear bend, moving to a rapid downhill 4th gear hairpin countered by the off camber sweeping left had some ice on it.. But then again, they could have edited that bit out..

Dont be such a wuss alan, it's us that have the crossing over the top to negotiate in sheet ice anyway, your coming along the easy way

We should all be there by 8pm at the earliest, so looks like we're going to get the best parking spots. At least in winter we're not going to get bitten to death by the midgys
