I've just read through your 16th march/feb thread guys, and talk about confusing Are you coming over on the 16th march to meet us at the snake pass inn, or what?
Have you got 2 lists going for 2 different events on 2 seperate dates, both being the 16th?
Oh dear, I need a lie down, after that, I'll post up in northern about the meet at the snake on the 16th march
see you all then,
chris.
ps we met mbk last year, and he told us all about the awesome routes he used to organise, and he drives like a nutter!

Edited to say: Andy's getting the paperwork dusted off and I feel an inpromptu forming up nicely

It's no good sitting there typing 'All are welcome'
Where are they welcome? Where are we going?
C'mon chairman. Remove your index digit. Or should I do it?
.....
Okay. 16th Feb, official WYIOC run out 'STICKY'S MYSTERY TOUR' to ?????
Meeting points : Holmfield Arms 7:00
Brickworks 6:45
Cedar Court car park 7:15 for a 7:25 departure
Have a full tank of fuel and be prepared to drive, stop, eat, drink and drive back.

Right, the mystery tour is no longer a mystery.
Thursday 16th mid month run will be to The Tennant Arms, Kilnsey.
Just got back from a recce of the area (Yes it IS 2:30 AM )
Had a fantastic meal at the aforementioned pub, and the landlord said that they'd be more than happy to accomodate us.
Great food, reasonable prices, and some nice roads to boot. What more could anyone ask?
I'll start a separate thread to avoid further confusion, can everyone who's going get their names down sharpish then we can give the pub advance notice of numbers.

Oh yes NBO is a must
Can't find any pics but Sticky, Dazza and Foxmod seemed to take loads, and there's some video that's never been hosted that should be sorted prior to this years to see if we can attract enough interest beat 49 cars this year.

As regards this mid month run I was out that way on Saturday, took the usual route, Strines to Ladybower, then carried on passed the Snake Pass Inn to hook up with a bit of road I discovered around Xmas. Basically you follow the road into Glossop then take a right onto the B6105 all the way down to the A628 then a left onto the fab A6024, then down into Holmfirth and then back up through towards Denby Dale etc
It was a brilliant run , helped by fairly clear roads thankfully and I was just wondering if anyone fancied heading back that way from the Snake Pass Inn rather than going back the way we came?

Ah yes, I remember it well...
Took a run up that way to the Ladybower a couple of years ago...
Think it was Easter Bank Hol Sunday.
A certain gentleman had a run in with an embankment just the other side of Holme Moss, thankfully no injuries and v. minor damage...
Then Peccy took a couple of us around the delights of the Dales backroads and Edale... OMG Edale...
There's a bridge there that you never seem to feel like you're gonna land from... but that's another story

DOH!!!!! Can't believe it, I'm not gonna be able to make this meet as I had failed to take into account the fact that I will be on a plane, no my way to Ireland at around the time you'll all be setting off.
