Hi adywrx. As a newbie, I concur that this forum does have an incredibly high number of pedantic posters who seem to have very short fuses and few manners. However, as a previous poster points out, there is very good information in here and good posters. Just need to 'dig deep' as was said earlier.

I hope you enjoy the WRX. I've had mine for 2 and a half weeks now and it's still a buzz to drive every time. As for mods, I've (kind of) decided to do that at a much later date when I change the car in two/three years time - hopefully for an STi - a stronger foundation to start tuning with. For now, I will learn how the car drives and its limits. But knowing me, I will lose patience soon and start modding as soon as possible!

maybe venture out of north wales and invest the 17k in some lessons ie school?the grammer and spelling in this particular piece of literature is surely something one would try to alleviate ones self from.thanking you, my peers and scholars.

I wouldnt let it get to you.

Im sure you will love your car but seriously it does seem to be quite expensive even for a low mileage example. If you had enquired about what a fair price was on here first they might have been able to help b4 you commited to the deal.

Dont get drawn into slanging matches and who cares if you cant spell anyway. It doesnt really matter.

agree adywrx, its a steep learning curve , learn to take the B.S, think before you post, and dont bite thats what people want and then everybody jumps on t.b.w **** taking. the dealership did see you coming though

Ady - please just answer one question. Why would you spend £3k over the odds on a car you CAN buy elsewhere?
You rich to the point £3k ain't much?

Leave the guy be, if it is a wind up ,well he beat 95% of you, if it isn't...well it his money let him do what he want's with it,Did anyone tell you how NOT to spend your money??

To be perfectly honest i would bother going for 300bhp, i was going to try for 270-280bhp with my WRX but the car feels fine in just about standard trim,Then there's the insurance problem......so i wouldn't bother but if you do feel you need more power then go to a recognised tuner and forget about DIY it *might* cost you more in the long run if your'e not sure what you are doing.
