Cheers

Managed to rebuild the power steering pump last night, then sort a few other things out, which i honestly cant remember.

Stripped the rear seats out and also remove the fuel pump assembly. Managed to sort the additional feed for the 2nd fuel pump, so it now just needs the second pump mounting to the bracket, then some wiring to power it.

Seats removed so i can feed the second fuel supply line through the cabin.

Turbo arrived yesterday , looks interesting, and i have removed the exhaust housing reading to get it ceramic coated.

Still making progress, all be it slow. Waiting on a few exhaust components, which should arrive today, also waiting on the return of the parts from the 2 powder coaters.

Can you give details of what you're doing on the fuel system side Steven?
I'm needing help on what to do with running twin pumps. Options? etc

yeah I picked up on that, is it a twin walboro (or other!) pump setup on the same cradle in the tank?

How are you getting on with the MSD Steven?

LOL

Silver Powder coated stuf is home, and looks Big thanks to Paul Claydon from Hull for sorting this for me.

Looking forward to the Candy arriving, dont forget the clutch slave cylinders will you

Andy (peanuts), MSD unit is mounted in position, wiring now just needs connecting to the OEM loom.

Alan, yes its a twin walbro setup on the same cradle. I have drilled a hole in the OEM tank lid, and fitted a 90 degree bulk head fitting through that hole. Its now with David, to finish off the electric side of things.

I will take detailed pics of it when i get it back.

I have tonight managed to feed some teflon lined -6 hosing through the car (drilled a hole) near the nearside tank access lid, through to the drivers side access hole. It will then run from roughly under the rear passenger seat along the inside of the car through the bulkhead to the fuel filter mounted on the nearside suspension strut.

Again i will take pics, as much as i can whilst finalising it between now and sunday.

Decided if i want to run the car on sunday, i wont get the ceramic coating done in time, so it will be run it as is, then whip the various bits off and get them coated before 9th April, when it will hopefully have its 1st shakedown run at Elvington.

MSD Unit installed (just needs wiring up)

Push style release bearing from the OSGiken clutch

Converter bracket to turn it into a push style (OEM is a pull type)

Two access ports of the fuel tank, with the new braided fuel pipe fed through from one side to the other. (Note the light red almost pink colour, thats what under the bonnet used to look like)

Fuel pump lid and bracket assembly removed, showing main access to the tank

Hole drilled and pipe fed through, so it goes from outside of the car to the inside. It will then run down the inner sill to the bulkhead.

Onto the engine. Modification of the OEM baffle plate.

A few cuts and it should just come off.

Installed onto the block.

Oil pickup pipe installed

How the internal baffle of the sump looks or will sit.

And again

Sorry, forgot to press the macro button

Not quite sure if we have enough detail on the sump arrangement, perhaps another dozen shots should do it
