I had my first go as commander yesterday. I quite like it. I played full time on a 64 map (I think) with about 8 a side. Bit boring as limited artil strikes but the points rake up for assists, resupply etc.

Bossing people around is great

It does **** me off though when you get the part time commanders that are just taking the hours as commander to get badges. Any time I did not want to be commander I would have resigned to give someone a go.

Darlodge - yeah - know what you mean - can be very annoying... "Need supply drop here"... <silence>....

Nah - it's put treads on the choppers... and a big gun... and renamed them to M1A2

Question about Commanders... when someone asks for supplies - how do you target it on them? When I asked for orders from a commander one time I got a snotty "you have your orders" back! How did he do that?????

When in the commander 'map' view, you can select a squad (on the left), then click right mouse button to send a message like 'Move, artillery your area' or 'Your the best squad I've seen' etc...

Puff - BF2 -> options -> audio -> english only voices (click tick box) - voila no more "durka durka durka backa laka laka"

Well, there is usually plenty of opportunity to be commander - if no is already, apply when you join into tonight via the Squad screen

Nah you keep your points

Highest overall score doesn't mean best player Kieran - I still haven't worked out why, but must be down to team work + kills split i reckon..

Good to see you guys on tonight

Talking Euro Force Xpak available

All,

This is available for download, some info on our site.

Also, the server is currently running Euro Forces maps only, so people can test their install

Enjoy - btw, lots of tanks

Oh lordy lord... the tanks .. the tanks... soo many tanks...

Operation Smoke Screen looks like a possible favourite
The other two are interesting maps too

A couple of us were messing around on our server until the wee hours, just to get the lay of the land

The new Euro copter is a bit weird... you'll see what I mean once you download it

BTW, you need to use your EA account (if you have one) to login to the website.

When it prompts near the end for GAMESPYID, this is your BF2 nickname (that you login with) EXCLUDING any 'prefix' you have set-up.

I'm quite tired today funnily enough

LOL - practice makes perfect!

Were you in the chopper when we flew about 3m off the ground / water, to secure the 'Farm' base near the MEC head quarters.. the guys on TS were saying:

"we're really close to the ground ..."
"Alex... WE'RE REALLY CLOSE TO THE GROUND!"
"ALEX!!!..."

And we didnt crash.. they just panic'd ... LOL

Teamspeak - I must install teamspeak.

Job for tonight - thanks for reminding me... actually it's a good thing I haven't installed it yet or else you would've banned me after that whole runway / collision thing

Does anyone keep finding them self looking at their stats on http://bf2s.com/.

Even though I know my stats are up to date, I keep looking at me and my clan.
