I still play BF2 (mainly Special Forces) and BF2142, much prefer them to 'WW2 Quake' (ie. Call of Duty World at War). It still has the right balance between teamwork & action IMO.

ARGHHH!!!!
I am having a right old pickle trying to get this POS to run
I bought the "complete collection" from ebay.
Installed it all, including the bonus packs.
Started it up all patched to 1.41
I have an EA ID already as i have my profile linked via my 360 gamertag and battlefield heros, i can not create a BF2 account with my EA ID details as they are already in use
The only way i can create an account is to use a totally different email address and start from scratch, but this means my EA account is not going to be "linked".
I have an old gamespy account that i still have the login details for, but they wont go in either.
So i created a brand new account, and when i try to register the booster packs online, its telling me the product keys are already in use.
40 mins later and i have just found out that the booster packs seam to be included in patch 1.50, so i have downloaded that and i am currently installing it
PITA
Its crap like this that puts people off PC gaming, i know i said i did not like the 360 version, but **** me, you just put the disc in and it runs, i was playing Bad Company earlier on and that is simple as hell as well (and my EA ID seams to work with that one without an issue)
