** UPDATE - 8pm KICK OFF on game nights **

Mornin' all,

As per previous posts, a few of us on here play BF2, and are using a server we lease from MPuk.

Slots: 40
Map Size: 64
Status: ranked
Max ping: 150

Patch level: v1.41

Tuesday: BF2
Thursday: BF2 SF
Sunday: BF2 or BF2 SF depending on the clan's choice.

Just wanted to say again, all are welcome to join in with us, we tend to play Tuesdays, Thursday and Sundays, kicking off 8pm, although it can be earlier, especially on Sundays.

We've already got a few Scoobynetters in the clan, and are recruiting - we have a mix of serious and casual BF2 players in the clan.
We are currently trying to set-up snafu vs. other clans, so if you are keen to get into this sort thing, express interest on the clan site.

If you spot any bad playing (ie stat padding or TK'ing to get sole control of aircraft etc..) then try and let one of the following know who has been doing it - these have admin rights on the server:

Also I should make you aware that 3 tk's in one round that are punished for = automatic kick n ban from the server - although we are reviewing this config as some people don't seem to understand that accidents happen...

I only had one TK last night, when whoever it was punished me for standing up in my line of fire At least I got the kill I was going for (and it wasn't my team member ) and didn't finish last

I tried to register SNAFU_cottonfoo last night, but it keeps telling me the uniquenick is already in use. I don't remember registering it before so I don't know what's going on there ..

Thats the same problem I had (and others) with [SNAFU] hence the move to SNAFU_

Did you 'delete' your current account or use a new email address - it needs to be an email address not in use by another BF2 login.

I've checked and there is no cached data for that account (SNAFU_cottonfoo), but that doesn't mean anything.

The EA stats/account servers do seem to be flakey now n then - it might work tonight or tomorrow - so keep trying.

Don't worry too much thou chap.

I've PM'd you some stuff btw.

Sorry chaps, looks like the server had crashed last night, so I restarted it at 8:45pm ish.

I'll make sure it is cycled before Tuesday nights game, I can do that from work fortunately

The IP address is correct, doubled checked it, but you should be able to search for 'SNAFU' though too.

Last night was a bit of a non-starter, for some reason or another the majority of SNAFU's couldn't make it.

I gave up waiting at 10:30pm, seemed we were always 1 player off starting a game...

However, Tuesday promises to be 20+ players, so should be a laff again

Haha, nothing, my nails are just in terrible condition so I'm getting them fixed. Mate's girlfriend does that kind of thing for a living Hopefully it'll also give me better aim, should be less drag and things, etc

BTW BF2 patch 1.03 should be released in the next week - e-rumoured for tonight... but doubt full. But, theres some new details (as of Friday last week) on eagames.com's BF2 page.

One of the guys in our BF2 clan has been busy making maps. If anyone has played BF1942 and liked Operation Aberdeen (total tank-fest !!), head over to the downloads on http://www.bf-dogs.com/ and grab a copy. It's set at night time too - aim for the muzzle flash !!
