Good games tonight.

Guys - remember if you see someone stat padding or potentially cheating, use the 'kick vote' function - it is enabled on our server.

I did play for a short while but I was having connection problems - I ended up in some really crap games elsewhere... couple of good 'uns (one great SF game) but generally poor...

Could someone explain what stat padding entails as I wouldn't know it if I saw it!

I think I've found the kit I can play. Support. This is mainly because you get a fooking huge machine gun and even *I* can't miss with it! (plus I learnt the trick of lob all your grenades and then refill from your own ammo packs... I had these guys running 'round in circles trying to work out where they were coming from - I was up on a roof bouncing them off nearby walls....)

I caused mayhem last night at the start of one game... managed to get into a base right as the Yanks turned up - they were ALL on foot, I was in a tank.

It got messy really quickly

Hmm.. if you get points for that, if could be classed as stat padding.

We had two guys, both support, chucking grenades off the carrier on one level, then chucking ammo bags at each other. They earnt themselves a kick+ban for stat padding.

I wasn't padding (don't forget I don't KNOW how to stat pad) we were getting stuffed and I was trying to stop the opposition nicking the last flag! (it was one of those 'every man for himself and kick anyone that joins your squad' games)

Besides - every time I met up with anyone I always ensured I gave out ammo packs and stood beside tanks and the like re-arming them as well...

I wasn't sniping as such - that was the first time I'd played that map and I was wandering around finding out where everything was... I got up on the roof and just had one guy after another run across in front of me - I'd killed 3 and shot at 3 more by the time you stuck that knife in my back

Bit unfair that TK (as I said at the time) that was a damn' fine and sneaky move on your part.

Glad you think so.. it was WAY more luck than judgement on my part but that little victory dance you did over my dead body was funny... all I could see was this **** wiggling in front of me...

Great laugh all night tho' - and there were some classic moments popping up all the time... well balanced as well although that Camaa guy was something else!

Had a weird night last night, we got raped on 3 maps running, but our scores were pretty good, then the one map we won (before I left) our scores were sh1te!
I think the SF maps are a lot more hectic than the BF2 maps. Certainly it seems that once the tide is turning for one team it's very difficult to come back at them.
Agree about that Camaa guy though, I think he killed me more times than even Alex in his tank (and that's saying something!! )

Guys - bit tip - you're scores can be crap, but if you 'own' the most flags for most of the round, you'll win - cos the other sides tickets will end up as zero, and the round will end.

Kieran - glad you like the dance I empty two more clips into your corpse to make sure you wouldn't get back up and shot me!

Was a fun enough night thou

What;s your take on when you get in a heli gunner's seat, then the pilot starts saying Get Out Get Out because he wants to play with his friend? Pees me off

Edit: not on the SNAFU server of course!

Let them Some people have a good team thing going and what's the point of spoiling it for them. It's a different matter if they are camping out the heli spawn point and stopping ANYONE else getting a look in, but if they are set to play as a pair then you should let them

As Kieran says some like to play like this.

To a degree we (SNAFU) frown upon this on our server, as how else are people going to learn how to be good gunners without a good pilot to help them along?

I'm more than happy for anyone to be a gunner when I fly the helis
