Is one for 'normal' BF2 and the other for SF?

Nope. I did ask last night as I thought it was MortuumMorges dyslexia kicking in

I take it he's another tag hijacker. There is at least one other SNAFU clan though.

You have to unlock the Tier 1 unlocks before you can qualify for the tier 2 (SF).. so to get the SF sniper you have to already have the normal BF2 sniper unlock.

Hope thats what you mean & helps.

I presume you meant HADN'T - otherwise that comment just rubs salt in the wound

Has anyone noticed how much more 'personal' 16 player games are? I had a right laugh last night... for some reason I just kept being in the right place at the right time to shoot the hell out of the opposition there was some 'fun' banter going on as well... (to the extent of one guy getting congratulated on making sargeant - from the guy he shot to make sargeant!!!)

Now theres a blast from the past. I played it a bit, but didnt get into it.
BF2 (on the right server) is about team play, not lone soldiers.

I would download the demo from EA and just have a lot at what it is like.
Personally find BF2 more involving than the likes of COD2 online, SOF2, CS:S etc..

np m8, thought it was funny, actually. If I got round to getting hold of a mic and getting TS I'd have said. Anyway, a few minutes later I lost the connection... again.

Thanks for the game tonight guys. Managed a fair view kills early on, just a shame so many were on my side . Still getting a dropping connection sadly - definitely time to go back to XP-32

It was a good laugh last night - i only wish I had joined sooner - but that MortuumMorgue was royal pain in the bum... All I could hear was him repeatedly warning of every piece of enemy activity. ARGH! STFU

A new map as well for me (at the end) I hadn't clue where anything was and ended up in some pretty intense fire-fights! Managed two bronze stars yesterday - I just wish I could get a gold or silver!

Suffered from the old CTD again. Haven't changed anything on it since doing that Punk Buster fix (which had previously worked for a week!?!)
Only managed to play for an hour or so on Karkand. Actually went as commander as no one else seemed to want to do it. I was cr@p at it, I don't know how people manage to play the game, look at the map, answer supply/uav requests, issue orders etc etc. I managed to do most things except issue orders. My brain was fried by the time the round timer dropped to zero and the map ended 140-100ish in out favour.
Got my first (and prolly only) Silver star! and 2 ribbons for 'commandering'

I wouldn't even know where to START with being a commander - I think I'm going to have to go offline for a bit and learn some skills... I can't even lead a bloody squad, never mind the entire side

Commander does take some getting used to.. but it's worth trying out on our server (although some of the joe public get upset sometimes ).

I've been trying to get my Veteran heli badge - but need a few more hours
Had a few hic-ups in the apaches last night

I just tried it on a small 16 man game and managed to win! I am NEVER going to slag a commander off again tho' - it's hard work!

Question - if you join a clan how do you rename your account without starting again?

Kieran,

You can't rename your account from what I've seen. M clan had to create new accounts which means starting all over again (

You can add clan tags via the LOGIN screen, there is a 'prefix' box (since v1.03) will you can put a 6 digit tag in
