Was a good game on Tuesday, think my mate Matt (MIRP) felt more victimised by me though - wasn't intentional, just kept walking into my line of fire

 

In my defence your name was in blue and we where in the same team list when you press tab, that dose only explain the first two kills, I’m putting the other 18 down to everyone else being better them me.

 

Yeah on that first map the server was playing up, red text was above friendlies and blue above enemies - very confusing...

I didn't get around to play last night, might be on tonight if I'm tired and don't fancy the pub. I'm out of gin and tonic so I'll have to fix that on my way home

Nope - just need to have an online account with EA for BF2, login in BF2 as normal, then go to Multiplayer -> search for our server: SNAFU_UK

Or connect to the ip in the first post

Anybody else click on the multiplayer desktop shortcut and then the game tries launch you straight into battle on some random server? it's really p1ssing me off!

press escape ..it works for me then you get menu again

but most pings are high on games ..i try to join the lowest if i can

even using 2meg myself

 

after looking around the net i think I WILL HAVE ONE GAME BOOT IT UP

then goto bed

Played last night for the first time in months.
Was having a wicked time but didn't even manage a full game before my ADSL went **** up

FYI you need to access the BF2 discussion areas from the main page now, we moved them last night (snafu-uk.gaming...etc..)

 

Another top notch game last night! , but am noticing with my current graphics card (Radeon 9600 XT) that I am getting quite alot of slow down when there is alot going on i.e Helicopter going past shooting the hell out of everything and me trying to run away

Thinking its time for an upgrade, So what graphics card are you all using ?

Depending on budget and I'm asssuming your using AGP, take a look at:

100 ish - 6600GT or 6800
200-250 ish - X800XL (HIS version is good) or 6800GT (Leadtek, XFX - avoid ASUS)

Or if you wanna go PCI-E

100 ish - X800GT(o)
200-250 ish - 7800GT
300-350 ish - 7800GTX

I'm on PCI-E with a 7800GTX
