prone-jumping... I occassionally jump, then hit prone, to be able to dive through windows - how can this be a bad thing!?

 

Commander ?? Not me ! Whoever was commander did a good job though, and I never seemed to run out of C4 !

Yep, I was in my own squad for a bit, I figured the SNAFU squad would be locked, but I joined it later in the game

 

BTW, looking at dropping Iron Gator (air craft carrier) from our BF2 SF map rotation - because it sucks!

 

It's a very one sided map.

seems some people had super human abilities last night too... Steve Austin style 'super' jumps etc....

It does a great deal of harm to your BF2 playing time allocation!!
I'm not far off completing it now As with all NFS games the races are getting a bit samey.

Not sure what it is, must be something i have installed on my machine but i'm averaging 90ms whilst my brother on the same connection is getting a solid 30.

I am anti-spywared ant-virused, etc need to do some investigating

I'm 44% through downloading an update

I didn't get home from work until 11pm. Have been there since 6 this morning, all was quiet on the western front until it came to a simple server reboot that went **** up.

Two hours of testing, monitoring and solving began at 8pm an hour after my official finish time as i had stayed behind to do the pissing reboot anyway, argghh! Happy Days

Tomorrow night is the next scheduled game night, tends to be Tues/Thurs/Sunday nights - cos the wives complain if we play every night..

So, from 9pm tomorrow night BF2 matches.

Thursday is our BF2 SF night.

 

I say it every week, but I'm hoping to get on for at least one session!

Left the patch downloading last night and it had timed out when I checked this morning! grrrrrrr

Not got Special Forces yet, didn't seem worth me getting it when I don't play BF2 as much
So I think the next time I'll be on the server is next Tuesday I guess. I think I'll be busy this Sunday

 

If you are struggling to download the patch I can burn it and send it on a CD if you want ?

Is there a nack to learning to fly the choppers?

The planes I can cope with, put me in the pilot seat of a chopper and soon after take off the ******* thing banks over on its head lol.

I cant go forwards, but i can manage to get the thing upside down.

I am using a logitech wingman force 3d joystick which isnt helping at all.

I see others in the game swoop in and launch missile after missile at me and i cant even get the sodding thing to move forward lol.

Any thing that can help? :P

 

yep - took me a while I am am still very average - best thing to do is find a empty server and practice I find keys better then sticks personally
