My dad had a retirement crisis after his 2 late mid-life crises (scoobs 1 & 2) and bought himself an 05 STi Mum and him get some interesting looks in it as they're both 65. A young Nova driver once pointed at scoob number 2 in a petrol station and said "Nice car, look, there's an old lady in it..." It was my mum and she was devastated

Hello folks, ive just joined SCOOBYNET and i'm an older driver. I am 58 years of age and currently drive a Honda S2000. Prior to the 'S' i had a new CTR on the 02 plate followed by another new CTR on the 04 plate. I'm not fat, i have all my own hair ( keep it short though) and teeth but do wear specs. I can honestly say that i've never had a mid life crisis. I am 58 on the outside but mentally no different to my late twenties. I have always liked fast cars but due to bringing up three daughters, have only been able to afford them in the last few years. Like most performance car drivers, i like to drive quickly when i get the chance.

Best wishes, Geoff.
