However, legal proceedings have been dropped after his tacograph — an on-board device which continually records the speed of a lorry — proved that he was driving at only 26mph.

Are you getting the same link as me? There is every indication that he was not speeding, and that the camera was incorrectly calibrated

Christ that guy must have alot of patience. The way the Courts and ALL parties involved had treated him is nothing short of scandalous.
He needs to setup a paypal link in his page, christ I'd support him. Some rich bod needs to hire him a legal team and really take the govt to town.
The police handling was disgusting, these things really need to get more exposure.

sad to say there is about as much chance of me winning the lottery, bedding abi what not, and seeing men walk on mars than this guy getting his evidence heard....
there is no way this gov will let the evidence be heard, it would make then look very silly, and give us pelbs some redress...
even if the echr let his evdence go through, a frendly judge wouldnt find in his favour would they...
well come to the NL police state....
still one positive thing will happen....
if we become an oppressed state, we will get some nice country come in and liberate us...
