The wheel is a work of art. Excellent feel in the rallys and pin sharp acurate on track. I'm a bit slower right now but getting there.

 

Just find it takes a bit of getting used to. At the moment I seem to spend half the time facing the wrong way

Will get there eventually, though did seem easier with the Impreza Touring Car than with the Cien that I had already been using with the pad. That was just a nightmare!

 

Gold, Silver & Bronze make no difference to your complete percentage - only the fact that you have done each test.

I've had to pause my Endurance of Le Sarthe 2 as by B-Spec driver is rubbish - I switched the tv on this morning to find him half a lap down - which I put down mainly to a) he's crap & b) losing about 5 secs per pit stop while the PS2 waits for me confirm the options each stop. I had a quick bash last night and was lapping about 10secs quicker, will have to do a big chunk of the driving myself if I'm gonna turn this on around...

 

I thought the Bentley would **** Le Sarthe 1 as it does in real life. Went home yesterday afternoon and he was a minute down after 8 hours! Sacked it and got the wheel up and running. I'm blaming wall riding and the 5 second pit stop. Apparently the F1 can pisses it, will give that a crack later.

 

That '92 Nissan did Le Sarthe 1 for me fine, by about 6 or 7 laps in the end. I checked his skill yesterday and it's around 6400. I switched to the Audi race car (that you win in Le Sarthe 1) when I did Le Sarthe 2 and he won by 6 laps again. Still had a few moments (that I noticed) on Le Sarthe 2 but nothing too bad, unlike when I got him to try it in the Formula One car. He was absolutely pants in the Formula One car, but that was with standard settings.

 

It's the Audi R8 that I'm using - the leader is using the Mazda 787B and the Sauber C9 is only about 30 secs back from me and that Minolta 88C right behind him - getting a bit tight with 4 cars on the lead lap after 14 hrs... which is why I'm gonna take over when I can lap about 8-10secs quicker. (probably due to me getting an extra 30mph down the straight!)

B-Spec made a complete pigs ear in the F1 car kept try to turn right half way down the straight - muppet, although this can be a consequence of incorrect ride height.

Completed all my endurance races and for le sarthe 1 +2 all you need is the Minolta 88 set at 4 increased pace until you pass the other cars then go down to 3 medium pace and sit back and relax,you will only win buy 2-3 laps.

 

right i've won all the races in beginner and professional classes and completed all the races in the GT world championship (albeit with cr@p results) but it's won't let me into extreme events.... why? it says i must complete all the races, and i have!?
