For anyone interested, here is an update.

I thought things at work would be pretty awkward, and they were for the first 5 seconds, but she quickly broke the ice, and state that she was very embarrassed but didn't regret it, and where do we go from here?

This caught me slightly off guard as I was half expecting her to try and deny all knowledge of said drunken fumble!

Anyway, at this moment in time, I won't be pursuing the punani. (until the next drunken work's do! lol)

I know its a **** cliche, but why the hell does the grass always seem SO much greener?

Smile nicely, flirt a bit, and see if it could ever be anything more than a drunken fumble. If she's just after a quickie on the side, steer clear - it will almost certainly come back to haunt you. If she's thinking long-term, it might be an entirely different matter.

I've known a large number of people who've been in relationships when they met their current partner. I was when I met Mrs Moose (who was also in the same situation).

Just make sure you're (a) certain that the grass on the other side really is greener (b) that you both feel the same way (c) that you both end the current relationships PDQ (d) there's no chance of you changing your mind after a week or two and heading back to your wife.

Be different if you had kids, but if the only thing keeping you togther is that you've got some history, it doesn't seem as though there's that much of a marriage to save.

Be warned though - it can work out, but I've seen mayhem caused in my family by my sister's habit of trading husbands every few years. You'll have a year of turmoil, but if you really think there's a long-term chance, it might be worth it.

She cornered me at work today and asked if we could "pick up where we left off" on Saturday! Just a bit forward!

Anyway, she asked me to pay her a visit tomorrow at home (its our day off) whilst her fiance is at work. Christ!

I told her no, but tried to do so without hurting her feelings or falling out with her cos I don't need an atmosphere at work.
