I went to a traffic accident the other day and nearly slipped on my **** from the diesel floating on the tarmac...

 

I spun my motor at 30mph on a wide roundabout a few months ago, obviously there must have been something on the road. But it was like a slow motion spin, totally aware of what was happening but completely unable to do any thing about it but look out for other cars.
Still taking it easy on the r/bout to date.

 

Same happened to me a year ago - M74 spun 2 x 360 degrees, four up. Passengers (wife etc) hardly knew what was happening - I was thinking EXACTLY the above - it was JUST (a day) out the bodyshop after a van had smashed it up!!!!

Had suspension stuff done to my car after that - NEVER want it to happen again. I am going to end up driving like an old grandad the longer I have the Impreza and the scary experiences

Glad to read you're OK.

That junction is a liability. They should put up warning signs to reduce speed. There's not sufficient space/time between the bend and the m'way if you're travelling quickly. Especially if there's other cars around.
