terryb, I recieved a phone call from marv today, outlining the fact that I'm supposed to fax the sheet you sent out and send off my 25% deposit. Is this right?
Also, I am going to be requiring a room m8, so if anyone else is going it alone, I am up for a shared room to cut the cost.
I'm house trained and only snore a little, although I'm sure all that fresh mountain air will cure that

How's your french chaps? Looks like we're starting to get some interest over in the french webclub forum. Still early days of course but there's a meet taking place in the Valais (Switzerland) on June 4 and it looks like there'll be quite a crowd (20+ cars confirmed, more to come) so that'll be a good occasion to see if we can get more takers. After that meet we'll probably start a thread in the french forum dedicated to the Stelvio run and see how many bite.
The Valais run (and early chit-chat on Stelvio) discussion can be found here. I think you might have to log in to see the thread...there's also an English-speaking forum.

Un Stella Artois, Mesieur.... now that's more like it.
Frenchie - thanks for your efforts over there. It would be good to arrange a meet whilst we are in Switzerland. It might be an idea to meet on Friday 9th September - might mean taking a day off work though. Then we could do the Stelvio Pass and if you or any of your mates are interested, we are then heading for the Nurburgring on Saturday 10th, with that evening and the following full day (Sunday 11th) on the Ring

LOL! Stella Artois indeed, a Belgian beer...Kronenbourg 1664 is what yer after in France and Feldschlossen (gnat's pee) in Switzerland
I reckon it's going to be either a very intense and tiring day of driving or a 2 day affair for we locals as it's (roughly) a 6 hour trip from Geneva to Stelvio. If it's on a Friday that'll probably knock the number of particpants from here down quite a bit but we'll float the idea around a bit and see what comes up. I'm up for the Pass but will leave the 'ring to you guys!
