Let me see, here's what I had and what happened to them

88? E Red Nissan Micra 1.0l (hey it was my first car! - rear ended into back of truck.

92 K Rainbow Blue (No, it's [b]not purple )Vauxhall Corsa 1.2i Merit E-Drive. - T boned by some idiot.

96 P Amazon Green Citroen Saxo VTS - (my first 'performance' car - sadly missed! - Sold!! Blimey, I actually got to sell a car I'd owned!

98 S Pepper Red Ford Mondeo ST24 Saloon (no body kit, but chrome effect alloys!) Ok, ok, it's a ford, and a modeo at that, but hey 2.5 V6 aint bad, should have got a imported scooby from Holland instead though, learnt BIG lesson when came to sell it and lost loads. Good car though. Had to go as the puppy would not have fitted in the boot!

94 L Black Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon (**** me! what a mouthful! oh-er ) My current baby! love her to bits, hope to have her for a very long time.

Next car, umm, well SuzyQ says a) it's her turn for a new car (probably Grand Cherokee, or Volvo 850 R, though might be persuaded into Legacy GT-B), and b) SuzyQ says I can't have another car for a long time

1991 Peugeot 205 SX 1.1 (bought new to get free insurance to save money over a 2 year old car + paying for insurance - yes, really!!)
1990 Red Volkswagen Corrado 16v - loved every minute of owning this car, but 97 was a bad year for it. Broken into, CD player nicked, pranged while parked in public car park (bast@rd who did it remains anonymous) Written off by storm toppled tree at 70mph on Christmas Eve '97, Damn)
1994 Renault Laguna 2.0 RT This was a mistake but I was watching a lot of BTCC races at the time and I needed a car. Unreliable heap of merde.
MY00 Impreza Turbo - Awaiting delivery, and it's taking too long. I am currently suffering the indignity of driving my dad's Corolla snore-mobile as the Laguna's radiator is painting the driveway orange with cooling water and anti-freeze (see, told you it was a piece of cr@p)

Also 1987 Honda VFR400 NC24 (I noticed Moray said he had one of these too, a cracking little bike, bought it after 6 hours lessons on a riding school Suzy GN125 - what a difference, white knuckles on the way home from the dealers
1997 Suzuki GSXR600 Vrrroooommmmmm Vrrrooommmmm (Nuff said)

Started off with a mk1 cav then went to a mk 2 celica (great for wheel spins as I can remember , at a time when I was an imoture boy racer). Then I went to a sierra 2.0l GLSI modified with cam , exhaust , head , and finally a super chip . Then I had a Saphire Cosworth (fantastic car in the wet loads of oversteer) , then I went for a 93 legacy turbo (brilliant on the motorway), then the first of then Impreza`s a MY93 WRX after I`d written that off I got a MY96 STI2 by far the best car I`ve ever driven.

Cheers Dave
P.S. I`ve also had loads of bikes and riden loads of bikes.

98 S Peugeot 106 GTi (bought new, amazing car)
00 X Subaru Impreza Turbo 4-dr (still waiting, grr)

I also have this habit of picking up really cheap/free cars "for a laugh", in chronological order of when i got them:

87 D Austin Montego 1.6 Mayfair (bought for £75, cost £150 to get through MoT, sold for £550)
82 Y Citroen 2CV (got it for free, its still sitting round the back until i decide what to do with it)
90 G Citroen AX GT-5 (I'm chuffed with this one, 60k miles, 1 owner from new, MoT'd til March, bought it for £250. Excellent car to run about it until the scoob arrives. After that, its the navigational rally life for it )

The worst part about having had all these cars is that I'm still only 19 :/

Chris

NDM200T - grass green Fiat Strada 65.
First car and not bad for a 1300. A slight propensity to chew front tyres and brakes, but I suppose I could have had something to do with that. Eventually blew gasket & cracked the head. How much to repair?? I'll have that car over there please :-

A920ANT - red Fiat Strada 105TC.
Lovely sound, not quite as manic as an Abarth but drank like a fish (18mpg average). Police magnet cos they all thought it was an Abarth!
Also blew gasket & cracked head so traded in for :-

D884TBG - blue/grey Fiat Uno Turbo (1.3 Mk 1).
Belting little car, could seriously embarass people in far more expensive machinery. 97,000 happy miles then traded for :-

J484MJU - white Fiat Tipo 16V 5dr.
First one I saw 2nd hand I bought. A truly superb car although sometimes a little fragile (had one particular valve and pipe replaced under warrenty at EVERY service). Great sound, great handling, rare and although Performance Car rated it highly, most mags completely ignored it.
Sadly it's life ended by a 60mph excursion into the side of a BMW 318 who chose to not spot it when pulling out if a side road (despite road being a 1 mile straight and my full beam headlights!). Having been impressed with Performance Car being the only people to rate the Tipo I followed their advice and bought (without a test drive) :-

N94XNN - red Subaru Impreza Turbo 5dr.
First ever new car and just blew my mind. Red lined it accidentally within 50 yards of ownership at the first roundabout, struggled manfully to stay below 4000 for 1000 miles then yee-haa! 3.5 years of total satisfaction with just one blown interior light the only fault in all that time. Car totally transformed by fitting Prodrive drivers seat - how did I drive fast without it? Without doubt the finest car I have owned. Better in some regards than :-

T500BRU - red Subaru Impreza Turbo 5dr.
Disappointing sound compared to previous car (fixed by application of ScoobySport back box) and whilst being undoubtedly faster than MY95 car it just doesn't seem so sorted. Much more twitchy and just doesn't inspire quite the same confidence as the older car Still, I'm glad I have it, and apart from needing a new 5th gear on delivery, it has so far run faultlessly. Ad how many other performance cars can you move house in?

Next car in 2 years time?? I so far have no need to look beyond another Impreza (5 door of course)
