Regarding Nacro,

Incorrect - I enjoy his posts as at least he says what he thinks. It's also fun seeing you lot get so wound up by him - remember this is only a BBS on the Internet FFS - not life and death!!!

So I'm on a yellow card, just means I'll have to be a bit more careful to respect the boundaries clearly defined by our esteemed webmaster.

To stretch the football analogy a little further I'd say that like Arsenal I've managed an unbeaten run this season. I won't mention the last few seasons triumphs I've had as users **********, *******, ******** and the rest.

You're bottom of the barrel in Division 3, you took a 5-0 thrashing at the weekend, couldn't even attempt a shot on target, and you're now in grave danger of being relegated from the league altogether due to your inability to control yourself.

NACRO, having 'known' you, (metaphorically speaking) since you began posting as NACRO last year (I probably replied to his first post, when he was OK), I always thought he had a certain 'something'. Not that I agreed very often with the sentiments or tone of his posts, but I always used to wonder whether NACRO’s stated life was in any way true. In fact I was interested in the 'persona' even when NACRO was slating me, or besting me as he likes to put it, although I find it hard to feel bested by someone who exists only in cyberspace as a self confessed persona. I was interested because I wanted to find out what other persona’s you used and why would you use the NACRO one now. What do you get out it? Why bother posting over 3000 posts in one year if your lifestyle was so superior to most of SN? Unfortunately my lowly job and lifestyle mean I do sit at a PC for most of the day, but I know I wouldn’t be sitting in front of a PC so often if I lived the NACRO lifestyle.

Now I don’t really care tbo, for what its worth I think this thread makes NACRO look very, immature, egocentric and narcissistic. It also makes some others look a bit stupid mind, but there you go. You seem to have sunk to a new low by trying overly hard to prove NACRO lives a superior life the rest of us bottom feeders. You haven’t proved this to date. Why bother?

As a persona, why would ‘anyone’ on SB care or believe whether any of what NACRO says about ‘its’ life is factual? And NACRO does try hard to get this point across, 3000 posts hard. Put simply we don’t know NACRO, so surely there can be no status or gratification for you from anyone believing in what he say’s. Nothing about NACRO’s life is particularly convincing, but only because you seem to be trying so hard to make NACRO give out a certain impression. We could all invent brilliant lives for ourselves on SN, but why, who are we deluding here? I believe people like CEM could be seen as living a far better life than many, he has the cars, the fun, the money and the career. And although I’m sure he works hard to maintain this lifestyle, he doesn’t need to shout about it. I could mention many others on here who could probably buy and sell you np, and again they don’t feel the need to tell us this everyday.

As a troll NACRO works well, bring in the lifestyle and try hard to impress and it doesn’t. Perhaps then its time for yet another persona, just as pslewis is now a SN has been, how long can the NACRO persona be taken seriously even as a troll? Perhaps though you will blunder on until you get NACRO banned? And let’s face it, if you have to ‘try’ much harder in future to stick to the guidelines, then you just won’t be the same NACRO some people on SN (especially you) love to hate.

Feel free to analyse my reasons for taking time out from picking my nose to post this, but I’m sure you’ll miss the point.

Must be about the first decent post you've made since our little contre temps earlier in the year jye. I'm big enough to admit when I see some quality, unlike some others I can mention here.

Despite the fact you've 'promised' on numerous occassions that you are to ignore anything I say, I have to thank you for the new, mature, stance you've started to take.

The gratification I get from this is easily understood. I like arguing, I do it in my professional life (where of course gloves are on) and have done it throughout my educational life as well (guess who was the star of the debating team). The fact I can do this at work, in the main, and get paid royally for doing it whilst avoiding work (surely the aim of most scoobynet users) is the icing on the cake.

I'd have to say to you in alll sincerety however that I'm not and never have been PS Lewis. Although I have massive respect for him now I remember when I first joined the BBS (post 2001) that I thought he was a prize ****. I just hadn't learned to appreciate him yet.

As for analysing your reasons I'd say you did it because it pleased you, similar reasons to mine. For that, if not the rest of your persona on here, I say 'respect'


I'm not trying to impress BTW, I don't feel the need, however when a group of people cast aspersions what better way to destroy them and their argument by presenting them with the cold, hard facts. I often wonder why they feel the need to refute everything and then deny that someone has a lifestyle far superior to anything they can possibly even dream of. My motivations are simple. As I said earlier I'm a sadist and possibly even a supremacist. I just despise what I perceive to be inferior being with the worst delusions of grandeur.

No chance. Some similarities such as old and bitter but mycroft actually had some technical talent and took quite some work. He wouldn't have responded to half the posts nacro does.
nacro is very poor in comparison.

Can't comment on pslewis as I never really noticed that one.

I agree, Mycroft did have some useful engineering knowledge at times. NACRO, on the other hand, doesn't appear to have any useful skills or knowledge at all despite being given ample opportunity to show some. Still, he does make a good toy to keep us amused throughout the day.
