Hi, sorry for the delay getting back to those that sent personal messages yesterday, been having a mare logging on,
smellyvag was first to pm me yesterday so he'll get first refusal on the ScoobyECU board, followed by DPat, pantelis, coulty.
Seemed like the only fair way to sell the board, didn't want e-bay style auction.
Thanks, Roy

I am going home to Aus for a month in April and might be able to bring some boards back if that would help with the current shortage. Don't know how many you would need and how big they are packaged but could be worth a try?

I was just offering a free 'courier' service for some blank boards to try and help with the shortage. I thought they were the same as Scott used some before, according to this post, I now realise they are not. I confess I have a vested interest as I too would like a ScoobyECU.

The chips are the same i.e Fujitsu 27C1028 devices that I used. Alex has a secret source of Blanks. He sent me the blanks and I blew with my own maps.
AFAIK the Aus Spec WRX is the same as a UK (just called a WRX) and uses a similar ECU. A 6D if I remember correctley (if not a V7 or 7D). Which all can be found in UK cars.
I used to supply the following :
1. 15.5psi maps for early Jap spec 92-94 WRX/RA Saloon (a number of ECU are used, some require a different map)
2. 15.5psi maps for Jap Spec Wagon WRX
3. 15.5psi or 16.5psi maps for post Sept 94 WRX/RA/STi (both different to Item 1)
4. 15.5psi to UK, Aus, Croatian, Swedish Saloon and Wagons (same as 15.5psi map, item 4)
You cannot use Item 1 in 2, 3 or 4 and vica versa.
You cannot use Item 2 in 1, 3 or 4 and vica versa.
They will run but may give limp home of det problems.
Item 3 and 4 are interchangeable, but beware if running a UK at 16.5psi (I never supplied anything higher then 15.5psi to a UK car).
Pre Sept 94 WRX do not like running much above 16psi due to map sensor and fuel-cut sensativity, hence why these only had a 15.5psi option.

As I am in engineering, this is an area that I 'by rights' no longer have access too.
It hasn't been moved to stop un-authorised people using it, but purely into a secure anti-static area where other similar activities take place. All in the name of speeding up the process flow and cutting costs. BUGGER !!!!
So to cut it long story short... No !!!!! sorry

My scoobyecu board was bought 2nd hand off SN and mapped by GODotherwise known as pavlo I understand that 90-95% of cars can use these chips off the shelf, but my requirements were a little different.
I drove the car home late last night and cannot beleive the transformation it has made for the car. Anyone thinking of this mod, beleive me its well worth it. As well as making bags more power, it runs smoother, idles better, is mapped correctly for UK fuel. I would give this modification 10/10. In fact i scared the **** out of myself twice on the way home (lets not blame my ****** driving but the -5 temperature outside)
If your currently in a long list of people waiting for a board and are impatient like me, then just sit tight cause it is well worth its money.
