Hi Chris

You would need to refit the original centre section (10 minutes) to pass an MOT.

The PE exhaust has a rediculous design. It is a three inch system but tapers at each joint to 2.5 then expands on the other side.

Pointless.

As for quality, hmmmmm. PE is nice but tehre is no way teh scoobysport isnt equally good. The lifetime warranty is never quibbled, and the sound is fantastic. I think ROSCO hit teh nail on the head. I have sold two scoobysport exhaust in my time, and both went within a week. People were fighting over them. It was only my integrity that sold it on first come first served.

Next time (although there wont be one) it will be an auction.

I had a scoobysport rear box and mid section plus downpipe fitted in one go and found it far too loud on my STi5. I frightened all the people i drove past....In built up areas it is far too loud and would attract the boys in blue. I then refitted the STI rear box. Much more bearable.
I then did the equal length manifold and it was much quieter. I then added the Scoobysport back box again and it was quieter than before but still loud.
I then added a Power Eng mid section with Sports Cat in place of the Scoobysport straight through version. It is now bearable but still noisy... If i could get the cruising noise down and keep the noise when pushing th ecar harder i would be happier. I added the CAT to go legal again and am keen to test the Power Eng claim that is legal... It didnt affect power though and took only 20 mins for me to fit it.

I have a K+N Ind Kit on order . God i hope its not too noisy...
