bonnet scoop & vents turned up today (thanks Mikee ) already got them sprayed & lacquered just need to figure out how to use the old inner scoop to intercooler as they don't match up on the facelift bonnet numberplates should arrive tomorrow, then it's MOT on saturday (fingers crossed) then road taxed afterwards

so far so good, running only 0.8 bar felt pretty quick, got a bit of smoke from the drivers side manifold, seems to be oil on the manifolds, will keep an eye on it. apart from that seems ok

MOT is tomorrow morning, fingers crossed

changed the engine & gearbox oil today ready for tomorrow and got the grille installed aswell

LOL my car lasted 1 hour today till the rad split

only a slight set back

yep, exterior is pretty much finished, got another set of wheels to go on it from time to time (the blue ones further back in this thread) i need to sort out the interior a bit, namely the center console then it's time to eek a bit more power out of it

i'm working on it, the thermostat is ok but i left it out just to get a bit more flow, i'll try and flush the system and have another go tonite possibly, new rad is needed though

You could always run it air cooled.. the rad must restrict air flow..
it is a flat four after all! PMSL..

it's not finished yet

flushed the whole system tonite, still using the knackered rad with my repair on it and it held a good 82-86 degrees with a fair bit of right foot for a good 30 mins or so can't explain monday at all, must of been an airlock or something

MOT on saturday then
