Yup that does look better

My Mate had these on his P1 and they do make a difference. Not as good at combatting fade as the AP's (Alloy Callipers!), but pretty good, none the less. Good value too!

By rebuilding the roiginal callipers in the process you are making extra gains above the extra leverage of the wider pad contact.

Make sure you bed them in right! A motorway, with no-one around at 3.00am is a pretty good place.

Going to give it 300 normal driving miles and then start giving them some grief.
A couple of 100 - 0 should do the trick

Cool Hey Gravelexpress...

Haven't got any decent pics of my V-LTD, will post them when I get a chance to wax it

Until I do, here's a link to my old Type R, bought from Chris King at Scoobyscene and sold back to him so I could get my new one!

Lata dudes

Oh, I got the godspeed 335 kit on my V-LTD, still need to paint the calipers though.

Are they made by Volks?

If they are, their quite expensive so you may get a good price if you decide to sell them.

Not quite to my taste. Right colour for a Blue car, but I think 18in OZ 10spokes look just right!.

I say keep them! They're an expensive and lightweight wheel. Though, this is comming from me, who loves the Japanese style and culture of cars. I still say keep them... JDM is cool

Question Sourcing rear disks

Hi,

Have any of you guys had to replace your rear disks? If so where have you got them from?

I am having a hell of a job getting ones for mine (MY00 V-LTD). Godspeed have quoted thick end of £400 to get OEM imported from Japan

I'm told GGR and TSL both use disks from the Subaru SVX and size isn't correct.

The P1 disks are different again because of the rear caliper being a sliding type.

That's funny, spoke to Paul a few months back, at TSL, and he said that they stocked 290mm Type R disc's
Couldn't afford them at the time, buying DS2500 rear pads.

You could always try Alyn at http://www.asperformance.com/ To see if he has any
